Alan Parson joined with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in Tel Aviv to play a very special performance. Fortunately, this was recorded by a fantastic film team, including David Minasian. "Whenever I have the opportunity to play with a symphony orchestra, I always try to include songs in the setlist that we couldn't otherwise play live, such as the epic Silence and I from the Eye In the Sky album. We also took this opportunity to play The Sorcerer's Apprentice from our latest studio album." Alan and his band have previously played in Tel Aviv (and Haifa) three times and were thrilled to return. "There is a special sense of awe when we play there. The honor of performing with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, which is one of the greatest orchestras in the world, was a fantastic experience". Alan Parsons' career began when he was 18 years old, working on the Beatles "Abbey Road" album. Studio works for Paul McCartney, John Miles, The Hollies, Al Stewart and Pink Floyd and much more. He is particularly known for his studio work on the Pink Floyd masterpiece "The Dark Side of The Moon. Gold and platinum awards and ten Grammy Award nominations strike. In 1975, Alan founded the Alan Parsons Project together with Eric Woolfson. The Alan Parsons Project released ten acclaimed studio albums and ended in the late '80s. Since then, Alan has released four albums under his own name. In 1994 he began touring regularly as The Alan Parsons Live Project. Alan was awarded the Order Of The British Empire by the Queen in June 2021. Deviation in sound: Although indicated on the cover & in the menu as surround sound in DTS-HD format, it was mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. Alan Parsons has of course also implemented his highest demands for perfect sound.
