USA/Canada adapter needed if using in the UK
I love this Dust Buster ordered it as the 12 volt model which I already have seems to be no longer available.The only problem when it arrived was that it came with a USA/Canada two prong charger base and not the three pin which we use here in the UK, so I had to purchase the adapter suitable for USA/Canada appliances.

Arrives with a 125 volt charger and base.
Great vacuum cleaner. Only downside it was shipped from the USA and arrived with a 125 volt power supply and charging base. I spoke to Black and Decker and they said that if I used it on our mains supply it would not be covered under warranty.I had to purchase a Step Down Voltage Converter from E-Spares at a cost of £16.66 to enable it to be charged from our mains supply.Paul Jackson.

Best Hand Held Vacuum Cleaner I've Owned
I love this hand held vacuum cleaner. The suction power is amazing. Whilst it is quite loud, that is due to the powerful motor sucking. The battery lasts about 15 minutes I would say which is pretty good. I have been able to vacuum the whole car on one charge. It is very easy to clean and all the cleaning parts come out very easily and can be washed.

No UK plug - no adaptor - useless!!!
Couldn't use it as it had no UK plug and didn't have an adaptor for its two pin plug

It sucks !!!!! Nowhere near as good as it's predecessor
My last Dustbuster was a decent device but the battery gave in a couple of years after purchase. It's a damn shame that batteries can't be replaced.This new device is no better. That is, the battery is the main problem. It seems to run dry well before the older model did. I also don't need full power all the time when using it, but the 2 stage power on the older model isn't built in on this one.I see that when the battery does eventually pack in, that this one can't be replaced either. Surely this is not a viable situation. Why would someone buy a new car, for instance, when the battery dies?
