It is a very thin coating, so if applied per directions should not block fine detail.

If you are referring to pouring cement into a silicone rubber mold? If that is the case it should work.

Q: Do i need this instead of a can of regular silicone spray for casting plaster in an rtv mold?

When you work with plaster , the best release agent - mix Vaseline with a few drops of Naphtha .

Q: does this work well with melamine molds?
