What size AM ferrite antenna does this radio have inside? Is it 8" like some of their other models?

Sangean HDR-16 HD Radio has an internal ferrite AM antenna that is 3.5" in length, not the big 8" ferrite in the PR-D15. AM reception on the HDR-16 is good but not as strong as the PR-D15.

Why are there only two photos of the radio? I want to see more of the radio. Show the power cord connection and the input/output jacks.

Does this have wake-up to radio or beeper alarm?

The alarm can be set to "Buzzer" (series of beeps) or to a radio frequency (HD stations will default to HD1 - there does not appear to be a way to set the alarm to HD2 or HD3). There are two alarms. The alarm volume starts low and then increases.

Do the batteries last a long time?

depends on usage I have had mine for several months but am a light radio user.
