I recently bought the Professional Boston Shaker Set with the weighted cocktail shaker, and let me tell you, they’re absolutely worth the money! If you’ve been searching for a solid set of shakers, this is it. It’s just like the set I used when I worked at a bar—heavy, well-made, and with a perfect weight balance. You can use the top shaker on the included smaller shaker or pair it with a pint glass if that’s more your style.What I love most is that this set ditches the standard at-home shaker design with those awkward built-in strainer/lids. I prefer the traditional setup where you can bump the shakers apart and then use a quality strainer (I personally use an OXO strainer) that fits right into the shaker. This set is exactly what I was looking for, and I can confidently say you won’t be disappointed!

I've just started exploring making cocktails. I've always been an "Irish whiskey neat" person. But I had a bourbon Old Fashioned and now I'm off to the races. Manhattan, Martini (gin or vodka), so I needed some equipment. This shaker is very sturdy and robust, even though I haven't made any "shakeable" cocktails yet. That's next. What I really need next is a mixing glass and some pour spouts, and I'm sure I'll get it from Bar Above. Their stuff seems very well made, and their shipping is quick!

Great Cocktail Shaker, Very Good Quality!

I originally ordered a copper shaker, but the finish was flaking a little, so I returned it. The manufacturer contacted me immediately and offered to replace it with a different item or color. I opted for the stainless since it does not have a coating. I received it in less than a week. So customer service is definitely 5-star!Now for the item: I have never used a Boston shaker, so I watched a couple of videos on how to properly use one. This shaker is weighted/unweighted, which was suggested for new users, so I can't compare to a weighted/weighted, but it was easy to use and makes a great seal! No leaking at all. I was a little leery of having it slip out of my hands or of one side flying off, but everything went smoothly! It's easy to clean and doesn't take up much room, as the smaller tin fits inside the larger tin. Very happy with the product and seller.

This is my first Boston shaker. It has a nice solid feel. Works well. You’ll want to prairie technique for getting it unstuck. It forms a great seal. The cold makes it locked together. Give it a smack or two and it should free up. Split it open a bit and post straight to glas with no strainer.

When we started learning how to mix our own cocktails we wanted to get a Boston Shaker versus the single cup shaker set we had. Most of our cocktails we now stir but these cups help to make the drinks cold very fast, they are very easy to clean and after a couple of months of use they are still shiny. It does take a couple of tries to learn how to couple the two cups to shake without leaking so I recommend trying with water before filling them with expensive liquor only to have them end up on the floor. You get the feel of how they should fit together quickly. They were reasonably priced and I think they will last us decades, I even dropped one and there's no dent or scratch on it. I highly recommend this product.
