I've had many of these, I leave them out in the sun and sprinklers and they last years, if I took care of mine better I'm sure I wouldn't have needed to replace them. My 3 kids have sat in it, super durable, great quality and so comfortable!!!

After flipping out of a traditional rope hammock with spreader bars I realized I needed something better. Flipping out of a hammock is fast and scary and the risk of injury is very real. I researched and I found that Rada hammocks had the best reviews all over the internet and flipping is not an issue.I was worried that my hammock stand would not work because the stand did not have the 'half moon' curved pieces at each end for the hammock strings to go over before attaching further down the stand. I have a 15' hammock stand, measured from end to end. It turns out this hammock fits great. If you have a stand that is less than 15' long from end to end you should have the curved half moon metal pieces at each end. I added a few .89 cent hardware pieces to connect the hammock to the chain on my stand and I did it all myself (I'm not usually a handy person). See the photo for details. These also make it easy to remove the hammock and bring it inside during periods of inactivity or bad weather.I cannot put into words how much I love this hammock. It is so comfortable which is not something I can say about the rope hammock I had previously, it's beautiful, and most importantlhy I have never come close to flipping out of it. I LOVE this hammock. We vacationed in Belize last year and I spent a lot of time in the hammock on the porch of our bungalow. I wanted one for home, and went searching for a hand woven one like I used in Belize. So glad I found this; it is beautiful and I like supporting local artisans. I got the 'marital' size because I didn't like any of the colors available in the single and it is HUGE - much wider and longer than expected so it almost completely surrounds me unless I put my arms out to hold it open, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Because I don't have a place to permanently hang it, I purchased a 9ft hammock stand with the 'Y' shape at the ends (couldn't find a longer one that didn't cost a fortune). The hammock itself is about 13ft long, and I was almost touching the ground with the hooks in the lowest pre-drilled hole so my husband drilled one additional hole on each end of the stand and now it is perfect for me. The hammock is definitely sturdy enough to hold two people, but you would need a bigger stand or to suspend it in a larger space to account for the stretch when occupied.

I loved this hammock for my backyard. The woven aspect of it creates a very comfortable experience with the breeze passing through and what-not. Unfortunately, it is very fragile. I bought 2 of these, first one lasted one summer, initially strings broke one by one creating holes, ultimately it was destroyed by squirrels (I guess collecting the fabric for there nests?). But I liked it a lot so this summer I decided to buy another thinking "I'll take extra good care of it this time, take it in at night, etc." But only about 2 weeks after receiving the strings started breaking, and i thought i was being pretty gentle with it. So ultimately, I returned it for a different hammock. If it wasn't for the fact that it breaks quite easy, this style of hammock would be my choice.

I tried one of these out in Mexico at a cooking class (it was hung from bolts in their living room!) and had to have one! I purchased the stand from AMZ as well and it was super easy to assemble. I LOVE this hammock! So comfy, feels sturdy (no worries of falling out while trying to get in it), and I am just drawn to getting in it night and day!

I bought this in summer of 2022 for use on my balcony. I only have it out when I'm actually using it, and due to weather and other factors, I've used it relatively little. For the large majority of its life , my hammock has been dry, indoors, in a storage bin. The first warm sunny day this spring, I tried to set the hammock up and noticed a number of large holes in the netting, where several strands were broken. Note this is advertised for weights up to 550 pounds; I weigh ~170 or less than 1/3 of the limit so these were not broken due to excess weight. The thread near the breaks is super fragile -- when I tried to tie some ends back together, it tore easily in my hands. I can only guess that the fibers degraded from even modest UV exposure. The way this hammock is strung (thin strings, not knotted) means that any hole can quickly spread.Overall I'm disappointed, and will be replacing this with a different style of hammock which I hope will last longer.

I was unsure at first but took the chance and got it. By far best decision I’ve made on a hammock. It can support all 3 kids at once and even allows for me and the wife to enjoy together!Stays clean, looks good and is very comfortable!Would definitely recommend this product!

I love these Yucatec-style hammocks. I'm reminded of slinging them up between palm trees on the beaches of Tulum, years ago when it was still a paradise. I like hammock to be cotton as it provides a bit of stretch and is more comfortable. 100% nylon hammocks will be more durable but you lose that stretchy comfort. This hammock is a good combo, using cotton for the body and nylon for the support strings. It's comfortable, looks great, and I recommend it.I'm taking one star off this product because of build quality. Several of the nylon support strings were not tied off and dangled loosely. I had to tie them off myself. Not a huge deal, but I'd expect better at this price point.

We bought a hammock in Mexico 12 years ago for our home and love it. I have been looking In stores and online for one just like it and couldn’t never find one for our cottage. It’s hand made and such good quality. We couldn’t be happier with it. I don’t like hammocks made out of cloth material or when they have the wood keeping them spread apart. Nothing compares to these hand made hammocks! It’s woven and you can wrap yourself in it like a cocoon but still see out, our kids love them. We actually bought 2 and have no regrets!
