Rubbermaid Party Platter, Clear

I received the Red hoping I was getting the clear. I really like it though either way I really wanted this for putting veges in for the week for snacking and making salads. I can just open this and put what I want into a salad or my to go snack containers for work or travel and that's a time saver for me. I'm also more likely to reach for it and make a healthy choice. Very glad I purchased it. I think it a little overpriced but didn't want anything too cheap in quality. This should hold up pretty decent.

I've always needed a party platter tray like this. My mom used the round Tupperware version of this when I was younger and I always felt I needed the same thing, but this Rubbermaid version is even better! I love that it's rectangular so it's easier to store in the refrigerator. I bought 2 - one for veggies and one for fruit - for a birthday party. It worked out so incredibly well. I love the optional bowl with lid for the middle too. I used it in the fruit tray for cheese, and didn't use it for the veggie tray because I just used a store bought veggie dip which mostly fit in the center spot.These trays are so roomy. They are big, but exactly the size I was hoping for. We had about 20 adults and 10 kids at our party and there were some leftovers since we had other food too. I will definitely be using these for many years to come as we host or attend parties.

This is really an ideal way to get everyone at the table to eat raw vegetables and fruit. We were very happy with it- feels sturdy, fits a lot of food (we usually use the center portion for more veggies rather than dip) . The lid is nice and snug. We've had it almost a year now, and it's been in use for about 6 months. I'd give it five stars but for this: when I took it out of the fridge this morning, I accidentally dropped it on the floor. There was barely anything in it, but the lid, which was on securely, cracked and cracked and cracked! It's almost as though it was made of glass, not rubber or plastic composite. I've been unable to find a replacement lid and since the item isn't that expensive, I went ahead and ordered another entire unit. I've also written to Rubbermaid about the issue, asking if a replacement lid is possible.I do wish there was something like this in ceramic with a lid, preferably lighter weight (wood perhaps?), same general size in and out, but have been unable to find anything. (And yes, if I'd dropped the ceramic I would have lost the entire thing, but still, for something we've used daily for half a year...)Anyway it really is a great thing, and I wish they made it in more sizes. Just annoyed about the top and how fragile it turned out to be after being in a cold refrigerator. Definitely not freezer; just refrigerator.

I wanted a divided tray with a lid to bring fruits or vegetables and dips to parties but I needed one that was smaller than the huge round ones. I like that this is rectangular so it fits in my refrigerator and cupboards and it’s easier to clean in my sink as well! Round things don’t fit in any of those places. It’s fairly easy to carry. It works really well for me as a two person family attending smaller gatherings.Updated: In April 2025 I microwaved the small bowl for less than 30 seconds to warm up some cheese dip and a hole was melted in the bottom causing whatever you put in it to leak out. I was able to reorder one of these trays in May 2025, but didn't get a clear lid, I got one with a maroon lid, which is fine as it still works. I couldn't find the replacement bowls anywhere, seems that size isn't sold anymore.

I’m always bringing veggie platters to functions! I love that it has a dip compartment or you can take it out, fits perfectly in the fridge. Dishwasher friendly!

This is the perfect tray for a mom that wants healthy kids. Have you ever noticed if food is left out people will eat it no matter what it is??? At my house that is what happens. If it's on the counter everyone will come by and munch on it. So I decided to leave vegis and fruits "out." But every tray I've tried had issues. Round ones take up too much room in the fridge! I mean really a round item should be illegal to sell for a kitchen. So no round trays. And it needed a lid so I could cover it and put it in the fridge at night. I also wanted to use the lid as an ice cube tray holder to keep the food cool during the day. And this one is the only one I could find that met all those needs.it is truly perfect and a great price.I dare you to leave out a tray of vegis on you r counter and see you unconsciously nibbles on them during the day. Maybe even you will!!!

This is probably my new favorite item for busy, on-the-go days. We used this all summer long for quick lunches and portable snacks. It's great for fruit, veggies, chips, or crackers, and the middle compartment with the lid is clutch for dips. BONUS: flip the lid over, put ice in it, then set the tray on top to keep veggie/fruit items chilled while they sit out. It's like a charcuterie on the go!
