Recon Jeep Wrangler JK LED Smoked Front Turn Signal and Side Fender Lens Combo - Includes Smoked LED Lenses # 264134BK & 264135BK

Definitely like the look. Matches the black grill with the blacked out jeep icon and black grill insert. Just put LED headlights in which are all black around the lights and it looks awesome. 1000X better than the amber lens and I'd say 100X better than the crystal lens. Be aware you do need to drill into the body in order to properly install your resistor. There is conveniently a really good spot behind the turn signal that has a bolt which isn't attached to anything where you can connect the resistor to ground. Still had hyper flash issues, which I dealt with for about 3 weeks and then suddenly stopped on its own and hasn't come up again for a year new.

The fender flare lights are cool. I like those, but the turn signals don't work. First the directions are HORRIBLE in how to hook them up. But, after combing the Internet for hours, I finally found a few places to learn how to hook them up with the resistor. Not only did I hook them up as they should, but also tried a few different variations. They would blink with the headlights off, but if the headlights on, they would only stay constantly on. I was mainly looking for the smoked look anyway, so I used the VHT nightshades which is about $14...instead of $100 on something that doesn't work.

Looks really awesome on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. However; causes "fast-blink" and an error message. They fail to tell you that you need resistors. Those should be included at this price! Had to drop another $25.90 on two Recon 26420 resistors. Could have saved a lot of time (and install money) if they had made it clear that those were needed.

Simple and easy assemble

It fits perfectly in place on my 2013 JKU Wrangler but causes a failure reading in the jeep computer every time you use and then stops working with a burnt out bulb reading on the dash. Included is a resistor with no instructions, no installation design, and nowhere to mount to steel with the included 3 inches of wire. I cannot use and this was an expensive mistake. They should note these problems with certain vehicles, I would never have purchased had I known.
