Plenty of lift power. Takes almost no time at all to get the old one off and this new one on. I waited until the OEM part entirely failed on my 2011 Camaro RS before I ordered this, so needless to say the difference between the old part and this one is like the difference between night and day... I do believe the lift power this part provides does seem stronger than the OEM part ever did though even way back in 2012 when I first purchased this car.I appreciate the super fast shipping... Ordered on a Tuesday afternoon, it's already installed and I am typing this at 1pm local time on Thursday of the same week.If anything changes, I will certainly update this review accordingly... So as long as this remains a 5 star review, you can assume this product is still doing its job effectively.

Simple install. Able to do by myself. Only tools needed are a small flat head screw driver. Works perfect.

Popped right into place just like the OEM one

4 Stars for now...The arm was the right size and installed quickly and easily. Time will tell if it holds up well or not.

The lift and the entire hood flops around when it gets to the top which is just a little scary -- I hope it doesn't come loose. Lift force is great, but I'm just not sure it's as rigid as the original 9-year-old GM one that I removed.

There were a couple products that were a few bucks cheaper but I’ve used this brand before and it is well worth the extra three bucks. Quality is good and product usually lasts longer than oem. Good company.
