this is a nice little amp, not quite what I was expecting when it says 1000 watts. but inside the instructions, its more like 100 watts per channel. It does the job with decent quality sound, just not quite what was expected.

This amp is terrible and when you try lookup customer support it takes you to a bowling gear site. Stay away from this amp. I normally don't do reviews, but as bad as this is I do not want anyone else to waste their hard earned money.

Cant beat it for the price. I replaced a lanyard amp with the pyramid and it's def better performance. It's solid amp.

it packs some sound. its light and not real big. i had a 300 watt sony running my subs and i ordered this and put my mids to the sony and the subs to this, it does about the same as the sony did to my subs. running 2 ohms bridged and on lpf with gain about half way and it sounds good as where my sony would distort at high volume this stays smooth and loud. not 1000 watts more like 400 or 500. would buy again for quality and price.*update*the amp goes into protect mode constantly now, if i turn it up a litthe too much it shuts off, my mids amp stays on so i know its not the radio or rca,

I have this powering 2 6x8 in the rear of my Ford Ranger. Got the gain set to less then half and range set to full. So far it sound good and its not 2 hot. I can touch he heat sinks without it burning my hand. My Jensen amp finally died after 20yrs. So sad. I needed a amp with RCA pass thru and the wiring layout was the same as my old amp so the install was super easy for me. I bought the 3 year warranty which I hope to never use. Not sure I'd recommend this for a SUB. Seems under powered for a SUB and No External Variable Bass Boost knob which I think is a must. I have a separate amp for my 12in sub. I'm using the rear radio outs for 2 passive tweeters. Once you get a full range system you'll wonder how you ever listened to an all base system.
