Amber Lyn Chocolates - Sugar Free - Dark Chocolate - 15 Bars

Found these chocolate bars when they used to come thru Costco once a quarter. Wow they are good! I'm a milk chocolate fan, my hubby is a dark chocolate fan... they were cheaper there but worth it. With only 2 net carbs for the whole chocolate bar, it satisfies anyone who can't do the sugar. Many of the sugar free chocolate has a lower grade maltitol and it gives some unpleasant side effects if you eat too much, this candy does not. I went with the dark chocolate no flavor and it's $10 more (was for a bday so I went with the favorite), don't understand why that is...If you ever get a chance to do their white chocolate peppermint at holiday time, jump on it, it's fantastic! And you can mix with the chocolate - yum!

If you can't have candy with real sugar then these are passable, but not much better, if at all, than say a Hershey sugar-free dark chocolate. Dark chocolate is usually more dense (so not soft, right?) and not as sweet as milk chocolate. These need a firm bite and the overall taste is just ok (but at least there is no chemical after taste as with some sugar free stuff), but they served the purpose. Main gripe is, at least with this seller, you have to order enough candy bars to supply a neighborhood of diabetes patients (like me). So, still searching, but in the meantime munching away at second of 24 bars!

V-E-R-Y Expensive for what you get. Contary to other reviews I found these not very tasty AT ALL! Save your money there are better alternatives!

Well, I haven't even tasted them yet, so the jury's still out on quality.. . . but when I opened the box I realized I'd not done a good job of shopping, because I'd allowed myself to be misled on the SIZE of the bars!!In browsing sugar free chocolates on Amazon, I chose this product in substantial part on price - 24 bars for $40. Curiously enough THE WEIGHT PER BAR IS NOT AVAILABLE ON THE AMAZON SITE!! So, caution: MOST other sugar free bars are in the 3 - 4 oz range, and cost about twice (or more) per bar as this product; HOWEVER, THESE BARS ARE ONLY 1.2 oz each, so the unit cost ($/oz) is not at all favorable.

I like this chocolate very much. There is no taste difference between their sugarless chocolate and chocolate with sugar. I gave this product only 4 stars on account of one problem that I have experienced. Sometimes the chocolate I have received has been exposed to excessive heat and has turned white. As any chocolate lover knows, the taste of such heat damaged chocolate his horrid. If I point this out soon enough after receiving the shipment they make good with a new shipment. Once I only discovered the issue several months after the purchase and they declined to send me a replacement shipment. So, what I do now is go through each box I order and check a few bars to see if there is heat damage.

I'm pre-diabetic and have switched my diet over to low carb and sugar free. I thought I would have to give up chocolate but this one (and I've tried many) is really good. Creamy with NO funny after taste. I've reordered it now 3 times and will continue to do so as long as its offered.

Really really nice chocolates. Full rich flavor, sweet enough but not overwhelmingly so. As you probably know, dark chocolates have some special health benefits, so they make for a nice occasional treat. And being sugar free means I can enjoy them as a diabetic. I gave these to a couple of friends and they really enjoyed them as well and wanted to know where to get them.

Im sure the chocolate is okay, the bubble pack envelope it came in looked ok. But the inner package, which was the box for the chocolates itself was in terrible shape.All torn, mashed and unpresentable. Unfortunately, I need it for a gift for a diabetic for Christmas, so I will have to find a way to repackage it for gifting. Other than that I probably would give it more stars as I have bought this product before for the same friend and he enjoyed it very much.
