Max Factor2000 Calorie Dramatic Volume Mascara Black, 9ml

I have long straight lashes, and as i found it impossible to curl them nicely, I decided to find just the right mascara that won't leave any smudges on my skin, last long, separate lashes and give them some volume.I had Dior, Shiseido, Revlon,Sonia Kashuk and others..all of them (except Revlon) were good enough, but they had more cons than this one. I bought it a week ago, so I can't say how long it lasts, but i'm happy with results. It gives nice natural-looking lashes, no smudges, deep-black color and volume, however it's a bit hard to remove it, i don't use usually any special removers, but i for this one you will have to use a bit more of cleanser or smth else.-------------------UPDATEI was using it for more than six month, and this is my first mascara that did not become dry after a month or two. Great product and stays all day and even longer. It stays well even if you had to sleep with it. As I said before, the only cons - it requires more than water to remove it, even though it is not water proof.~His wife

I used to be able to buy this mascara anywhere, but now I can’t. I was so happy to see the Amazon had it available to order. I purchased right away and love this mascara. It gives me the volume and drama that I look for in a mascara. I will definitely be stocking up. Thank you Amazon for having it and thank you Max factor for the wonderful glamorous eyes you gave me.

The classic and still the best! 2000 Calorie is a wet mascara, so be aware of the time you'll have to work with it. Looks best with two coats, covers every lash. Be patient and give it 30 seconds to dry between coats. Younger users may not have used a wet mascara before--it's important to remember...don't just slop this on. 2000 Calorie is water resistant, so nothing special is needed to remove it and it won't pull your lashes out. Tends to be more wet when you first open it, so scrape the excess off carefully into the tube for the first week. Then enjoy the best mascara I've ever used! It is easy to work with and forgiving of mistakes, yet gives fabulous lashes without stiffness or extra removal steps!

Not the same Max Factor from back in the day. It’s ok but I wouldn’t get again - and when it was readily available in the US years ago it’s all I wore. I can tell a difference - but glad I ordered to get it off my mind as being the best. It’s ok but not worth it anymore.

I am extremely disappointed this item was a think plastic bag no seal or box. There is no expiration date on this. I want my n money back, I feel like I was given a used expired product

I have used this mascara for many years and then you couldn't find it in the stores. Very happy to find it on Amazon since it is the best mascara for me. Thanks Amazon.

Obviously things change. I remember packaging decades ago being a dark blue tub & a thicker formula. The tub exactly like the photo, is now black, arrived individually shrink wrapped with an experation date of 2024. It has a very strong clay makeup sort of smell. Doesn’t irritate my contacts. Goes on fairly smooth with very minimal clumps. It’s a little buildable but carefully so it doesn’t clump. I’d compare it to L’Oréal Voluminous but with out the under eye smudging. Hasn’t flaked off or smudged yet but it’s also only been in the high 70’s for the past couple days vs the high 90’s prior to ordering this. It’s definitely been worth a try.

I've been wearing mascara since starting beauty pageantry at 14. I'm now 52. Ive tried many mascaras in my day but I continue to go back to this one. It is the gold standard.
