Create a sound system like a BOSS!!!
I used this in my boat to drive 2 Boss 4x10 4ohm speakers capable of 400w peak, 200w RMS each. The Boss 800w amp performs flawlessly and makes those 2 speakers fill the boat with music. I can play my stereo at full volume, as loud as it can go, and the sound is perfect. No distortion whatsoever. It’s absolutely amazing!! I also complimented this system with an 800w self-powered sub. Thrilled with the performance of this Boss 800w amp!!!

After spraying the circuit board of an old home receiver with conformal spray I thought it might survive outdoors with overhead protection in my outdoor tiki bar, but after 6 months it stopped working. Outdoor amplifiers that run on 120V is an unmet need, I can't believe there are no products in this category. And to run a marine amp there are no outdoor 12V power supplies with greater than 5 amps output. You can run speaker wire through the exterior wall but then you will need a wireless technology to connect your smartphone to the receiver. So I put a 25 amp switching power supply on an interior wall and ran 8 gauge wire through the wall to the amp. A wireless 120V switch turns on the power supply when needed. The sound is great and once again I probably have found a complicated solution to what must be a simple problem!

Great Amp!
Seems to be well built, sounds great, and the physical size is perfect.

Junk. Not marine grade construction
Used for boat that is parked in driveway most of the time and seldom used. One channel fried now. "Marinized" on the front is complete b.s. I had this mounted under instrument panel where there is no moisture. There is no seals of any kind on any of the holes for cables or adjustments and the back cover has nothing sealing it. The rubber cover for adjustments gets dried up and curls up. The board itself isn't sealed in any way and looks very flimsy and old school. I had a boss radio that died too and now goes the amp. Not impressed. In a boat that actually spends most of its time on the water would not expect this to last for more than a few months

Good amp.
Plenty of power. Bridged to full 800 is plenty to get it loud. Been great amp so far. Running one 10" sub. But kinda over kill depending on set up def could do 2 10s. Been on boat all summer no issues.

One Channel Not Working
I purchased this amp to power my Kicker 12KMTED tower speakers. I have a Wetsound equalizer controlling the amp and I am only about to get one channel to work. I've troubleshot everything isolating it to channel 1 as not working. From what I have read, I do have all the settings correct. Has anyone else had problems with only getting output from one channel or did I just get a bad amp?

After being in the boat and exposed to the weather for 4 weeks it still works great. The volume thing don't seem to make any difference at all quality or volume wise but it makes a neat blue light on the floorboard. I am impressed with the water resistant design.
