A Little Luxury Everyday, Great Barbershop, Lasting Scent..
Nice scent, cool, calm, not overpowering. If you’re looking for that old style barber shop powder, and doesn’t “smoke” up the entire bathroom, this is for you. No fillers in this powder. Excellent after shower smell. Pair it with your after shave lotion, and you have your own small in house, old time barber shop smell.Great customer service, excellent company and well packaged. Just to go over some of the scents, if you like, are Turkish rose, lavender, cumin and amber. As it says on the bottle, “Timeless Classic”. It truly is and I was more than satisfied at this long lasting Imperial Leather talcum powder. You won’t be disappointed. It is your own barber in a bottle powder. It’s light, but as I said before, doesn’t get everywhere when applying. Where you put it is where it goes, as compared to most other powders that get everywhere when applied. This is a “little luxury everyday”....

Quite nice
Functions like any good talcum powder and smells manly to boot. The scent is noticeable but pleasantly subtle, unlike that world famous brand which makes you smell like someone just changed your diaper. No more odd glances on the subway!Except that I don't ride the subway. Because Houston doesn't have subways...But you get the point. We do have pedestrian tunnels under downtown. Not sure why. They collect flood waters beautifully, though. A bunch of people built shops down there. Not very bright, those people. We also have a trolley. It doesn't actually go anywhere. Just kind of putters up and down Main Street and hits cars occasionally. The homeless people who live under the freeways ride it back and forth during the winter to stay warm. So it's a community service thing... I guess? Sure was expensive.Once, back in the '80s, we were going to build monorails instead of subways in order to reduce the increasingly ridiculous freeway loads. That idea made far too much sense, however, so it was promptly abandoned in favor of building 20-lane wide freeways -- i.e., homeless shelters. Planes occasionally mistake them for runways and hit cars. I suspect they're just jealous of the trolley. Maybe the planes should pick up some homeless people while sitting on their roof.

Great talcum powder but the scent is not for me
Nice, soft talc. Real talc, the kind that gives you all sorts of diseases but also absorbs odor and wetness. Does the job, which is half the battle. Not a fan of the scent. Little too old timer for me. Makes me want to put on a pair of Dockers, pull 'em high, and walk on over to the Bingo parlor and hit on Gertrude. Or travel to London, get in my Jaguar, and drive on down to Buckingham Palace and join the Queen for tea. Except I'm too young for that and definitely not a British Subject. So....not a fan of scent, and neither is my wife nor kids. Like others have said, not a young man's scent. Try it, though, you might like it.

GREAT SCENT, TEXTURE & FEEL
Talcum powder has been getting harder to purchase at our local stores because of cornstarch products. I saw Imperial Leather’s product on Amazon and tried it. Really like the scent, the texture & the cool, dry feel of product. Scent is very refreshing... bought Imperial Leather soap as a result. Texture is fine and covers a larger area than previously used brands that were coarser in texture. After applying, it gives a smooth cool dry feeling. Attractive container also compliments the guest bathroom. Have already reordered - bought a 6-pack. I’m Sold on it.

Love this talc...
It has a great fragrance, excellent feel, and container design allows better control when applying. I've tried the available "talc-free" products made by others (think GB) and really didn't like any aspect of that product. This old time "manly" smelling talc does the job well. Sometimes, the old way is the best way.

Fine Talc - Strong Scent That Can Be Toned Down !!!
This is a really nice quality talc - very smooth & very finely milled texture. But for me the scent was way too overpowering, as in it caused an instant headache & I had to wash it off immediately. BUT, I found the perfect solution - I bought 4 pounds of a finely milled unscented talc (manufactured by Imerys, the same company who provided J & J with talc) from ebay & played with the ratio of Imperial Leather to unscented talc until I reached a diluted level of scent I thought was pleasant. Using an accurate commercial scale, I mixed (in a gallon sized ziploc bag) the scented & unscented talcs to find the most desirable ratio which for me turned out to be 1:1. So now I have TWICE as much scented talc at a diluted scent level that is quite pleasant. The newly diluted scent is quite tolerable and does have a light (and pleasant) soap smell... Using my dilution technique I doubled my supply of scented talc and went from a headache level /wash this off immediately scent to a lightly scented talc that I actually like !!! Believe it or not, I'll be buying more of this in the future when this double-sized batch is gone...

Good product! Highly priced.
I’m a big fan of this powder. It’s a nice find in Amazon.I became a fan after using ‘Imperial Leather’ soap which is one of my favorite. I like this scent and it stays longer. Price; it is little highly priced. I would like to see other options next time.

Good for shoes and boots
It’s real talc powder, good for shoes so that they u to old smell bad. It absorbs moisture which is bad for textiles. Also it is good for areas of the body that tend to stay wet and don’t dry on their own.
