This useful and bright towel holder looks ok. It's made of shiny plastic and sticks to my shower tiles securely.

Suction would not work on fridge

Grat looking and great price. Works well on shower glass wall...for a while. I am on my fourth one in four years. Suction cup fails in less than 12 months on the first three. I am now using the adhesive for fastening the newest one and I am pretty sure it is not coming down.

jjj I just acquired a new apartment with a bathroom with an odd layout that has a very cramped sink/vanity area between a wall and the side of the corner shower. When I moved in it felt super tight bc of a big plastic towel rail that thus made it feel narrower as any hand towel took up the entire side of the sink and came out past the small mirror cupboard. I took down the towel rail on the wall the tiny sink was up against and purchased this to put on the side of the glass corner shower on the other side which had 4in of space between edge of sink and shower wall. this has completely opened up the small area and made it much less cramped. As to the product itself, it is pretty, does not look cheap, was easy to apply and is very sturdy. Since the shower wall was textured the suction cup option didn't work so I used the adhesive attachment option it came with. It applied easily and requires no drilling or permanent maiming of the bathroom. The ring is large to fit thick luxurious hand towels. Very very happy with this purchase

We are renting a house overseas, and there are no tp or hand towel holders in the bathrooms. We can't drill into their tile walls, and I was tired of wet, wadded up hand towels cluttering the counter (we have 4 kids). A quick search for suction cup options led me to this product, and I am THRILLED with this solution. One of the reviews I read stated that it was plastic, and that concerned me a bit because I didn't want it to look cheap even if it is. After receiving it, I honestly can't tell. When I tap it with my nails, it does sound like hollow plastic, but who cares? It looks like metal and has withstood my kids pulling on the towels as they dry their hands. It also sticks very well to our flat tile walls even without the adhesive sticker. The price was so low that I went ahead and bought one for each bathroom, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I like to have a hand towel close to a bathroom sink but the only possible location for a ring is on the side of a wooden cabinet which I didn't want to mar by drilling holes. The surface is quite smooth and another brand suction cup towel ring worked there for 4 years. Although it fell off every 3-4 months, it was easily re-suctioned - until last month when it finally stopped suctioning. I decided to try this Insta-mount ring because of the option of using the adhesive bracket if the suction failed - which it did in less than a day. I then put it up with the adhesive and it is still there 1 week later. Time will tell if it beats the other.

Serves its purpose and looks nice on the wall. Even though the item description states "stainless steel," that is referring only to the coloring of the towel holder. It's definitely plastic and feels cheap/lightweight. But, I suppose if it was actual metal it would be less likely to stay up on the wall! The only thing I was actually disappointed about when I opened the packaging was some minor discoloration (looks a bit like rust, but it's plastic..). Once it was up on the wall though, it isn't noticeable and it looks great and is holding strong. Better than putting another hole in the wall! (I used the suction mechanism without the adhesive on glossy paint).

So I have been bugged to leave a review on this item from the seller. I don't like being bugged about that kind of thing but since I have been bothered so much I will review this item.The towel holder itself is nice in the way it looks but the actual performance and claim it can stick on an uneven surface is untrue. The item can be used with the available sticky pad that will stick to a surface and which you slide the holder into that has a suction cup on the back of it. That is pretty much impossible because 1. the sticky pad does not stay on uneven surfaces and 2. the suction cup binds up when you try to slide it into the pad.I bought two of these for my RV and the one in the bathroom which I mounted on an uneven surface, I had to superglue the sticky pad onto the surface I wanted it mounted on to keep it there. The other one I didn't bother putting it where I really wanted since I didn't want to use super glue on that surface so I just used the suction cup to mount it on the fridge which seems to be working well so far.If you are going to buy this product, buy superglue if you want it to stick on an uneven surface.
