Like the title says, I’ve let my hair grow. It’s getting long, and was looking mullet-esque. These have given me a way to quickly style my hair with little to no product necessary. Eventually I will need to shape up my hair, but for now it’s fine.The various shapes, be it zigzag or spiral, loose or tight, will all have an affect on the shape of your hair. Give them all a shot. This has given me an indication of how I will look in a several months when my hair is long enough for a man bun or ponytail.The all black and wire nature of it means it doesn’t stick out much against my brown hair. I already felt odd about wearing a headband as a man for “ReAsOnS”, so having a nondescript headband made this step actually less fear inducing for me. Now I actually like them and think it looks cool. It gives me confidence too. It’s not as uniform as the standard “longer on top” haircut men get these days, and I’ve incorporated that into my style. If you’re thinking about making the plunge like I was, this is a great first step.

I really like several of the six pieces that come with this set. The smaller ones have worked best for me, although you do need to be careful when removing them from your head to avoid getting them tangled in your hair.

I logged on specifically to leave a review for these headbands, which are FANTASTIC. I love headbands with "teeth" but the plastic ones are usually too tight (giving me a headache), or they snap in two. These are the most comfortable headbands I've ever owned, and the VALUE--getting so many for one price--is amazing. For the girl who poked herself in the eye....um.....keep them away from your eyes. Lol. The ones I received have rubber tips covering the ends and seem really safe. Note: I do sort of have a largish noggin for a woman....because, you know, lots of brains, LOL. No seriously I wear like a 7 1/4 hat, so maybe that's why I don't have a problem with these headbands holding my hair.

The media could not be loaded. They are sturdy and will keep the hair out of your face. However, the rubber tips fall off easily and the metal end ends will dig into your head without them. Before you lose them, I suggest using super glue to adhere them in place. Some bands fit better than others and they are too springy to bend them to fit your contours. I have a larger head and I like the bottom left band in the first product image.

This collection gets 5 stars for the variety it offers. Some are better suited for thinner hair, some for thicker hair, or a stronger hold, and I like that. While this means there are 2 or 3 I usually stick with thanks to having really thick hair, I like using the lighter ones in my hair when it's wet and easier to deal with. For the price, the set of 6 is worth it even if you just find 1 that works for you. I do not regret this purchase and would buy this set again if I lost my favorites.

I was looking for different headbands and I struck gold with these. Depending on which one you wear you can add a little lift or lay your hair flat. Just a different type of headband that’s well-made and comfortable.

I love these. Have re-bought them a few times... not because they break or anything but rather because I’m afraid they won’t make them anymore— and I never want to be withou them. My favorite headbands ever! I have long hair but my hair is getting thinner on top and I love how I can poof it up with these. My favorite in the collection is the thinnest one. Not at all too tight on my smallish head. Very happy customer!
