WANCAR Retro Motorcycle Bubble Visor Wind Shield Lens Universal For Standard 3-Snap Open Face Helmets(Mirrored)

As someone who loves the look of a bubble visor, and absolutely can't get my head into a helmet that doesn't have a flip up lid, this seemed like a win/win. While it is made of thinner plastic, the visor is a good enough quality, protecting me from just about anything small that jumps up from the road and hits me in the face, and the option of the flip up attachment is ideal...in theory.I will say however that after the first week of wearing, my visor would start unsnapping from my helmet (which is a Daytona standard 3-snap helmet, so snaps SHOULD be universal) every time I raise OR lower the visor - once even falling off mid -ride and requiring an emergency pullover to reattach it or else lose it in traffic. Almost crashed. Eventually, the snaps (on both the visor AND the flip-up attachment) wouldn't stay attached at all. I super glued them in place onto my helmet, and now it works great.Of course, as the flip-up attachment is made of unremarkable cheaper plastic, the more you open and close it, it becomes less and less willing to stay put, so after about 3 months, I can't get the visor to stay UP anymore. But it stays down (and ON the helmet) when I ride, and that's all that matters.

I already had one for my main helmet and liked it, so ended up buying a second for my passenger helmet. The second one is a bit more finicky getting the buttons to clip onto the helmet. Also, I have my first one on a full face helmet, whereas the passenger helmet is 3/4. Because the 3/4 helmet doesn’t have the chin guard at the bottom for the face shield to rest against, it has a little more play when riding at speed - so it creaks and feels slightly less stable when the wind starts to hit.

Yes it squeaked a bit. Nothing some lock tight didn’t fix. It’s sturdy it’s functional and it’s very nice. I recommend to buy it and buy it now. Only issue and it’s a Small issue, is when you try side to side the visor lifts. My fix was a small clip chinstrap. Easy.

So far so good. It was easy to install, it works well! Stays put on the highway at 70 mph.

I was sick of taking bugs in the face. I love this shield. It does flip up as well. Wish I had found it earlier.
