Seemingly well-built wheel, time will tell.
Originally got into the idea of ebikes because I was sick of inner city traffic only going a few miles. After researching front rear hub motor is in mid Drive Motors I decided I want the rear hub drive, make sure you do your own research. All in all this seems like a great kit I've got about 60 miles on it so far the wiring is very simple and neat easy to hide. The wheel seem solid and well-built. The company is very quick to respond to questions and or concerns oh, they are very quick to make it right with a customer. I would definitely recommend this wheel and we'll update when I have more miles. I am pairing this wheel with a 52 volts 14 amp hour battery my bike is about 65 lb with loaded paniers about 80 to 90 lb. My top speed with pedaling or without pedaling on flat land is about 31 miles an hour.Have hundreds of miles on the wheel now. I frequently pull a child and dog in a trailer loaded down with drinks and other accoutrements and the motor is still strong and handles the weight with no problem. Excellent quality would highly recommend this motor. Have ridden the motor off-road and very rough terrain as well as mud and heavy rain and have had zero problems.

Buy Only if You Have a Shop
This product is well made and has OK initial instructions. BUT, if your bike is in anyway not a bare bones frame, you’ll be in for a bunch of messing about trying to get the hub to fit and the safety brackets (torque arms which are an absolute necessity) properly installed. We have Cannondales and had to create alternate pieces for the torque arms, grind down parts, and improvise with added washers for spacing. What a to do! Also, if you have an original derailleur set for gears greater than 5, be careful when shifting. Ours ended up causing chain grinding into the hub. When you’re riding, it’s hard to keep track of the back end gears. The quality of the components is high, so if you’re in for a project, go for it. It took us, both quite handy in most areas including one being a welder thankfully, a couple of days to be comfortable with the safety and function of the end result along with destressing as we went. Keep in mind, too, whether the new tires you buy for the speed and torque will fit your frame and brakes. Ours still rub on the back break and only have about 1/8” clearance to the frame.Update: After not yet 3 yrs and less than 300 miles, the motor’s gone out. We have now purchased Jaison bikes.

One month review ( about 100 miles in with a 28amp hour battery )
So far so good, it is surprisingly fast. And for people not used to this level of speed on a bicycle I suggest taking it easy on the top speed. First its a bicycle capable of scooter speeds so sidewalk travel will need some restraint (and a lot of perception) on the parts of the rider because trouble comes up really fast.If your bike has no suspension like mine you will need to stay off the sidewalk at high speeds because sidewalk are never in the best condition. It doesn't have to much power from a dead stop but when it starts going it does not stop. Meaning if it wasn't governed I could keep up with a car...not a lambo but a regular car. This would be my second go at an EV but this time I had been moved by the performance and the capability of this system, so much that I had just bought a brand new CRF300L Rallya few months ago and am questioning the purchase.

Super Fun for experienced riders.
Before you buy a 1200w kit definitely consider in what applications a 1200w e-bike will be useful for. In my case, it was going on gravel trails, steep hills, and the ability to go at the speed of a professional bike racing group, which is around 25mph.Keep in mind that if you have the all-in-one shifter and brake you will need to take the sensor out and mount it or replace the all-in-one shifter and brake with a separate shifter in order to get the brake sensors plugged in. Installation is easier for bikes with a separate shifter and brake leveler. The brake sensors are important to cut power off to the motor. I also recommend buying a chain gauge to check the chain every now and then as a not worn-out chain will help gain more power from yourself. If power and speed are not something that you would like, get a 750-watt or smaller and pay more for the battery for more range. Keep in mind that this 1200w e-bike has an onboard computer where you can change the parameters of the bike to be slower just in case you want that speed and power when you are more experienced. This bike can definitely get you up hills with throttle only, I weigh 150 lbs.

They Can Get You On Parts
I purchased a front wheel 700C back in 2018 and its been 5 years.I gave that wheel a good review.Though it worked good, front wheel drive on 2 wheels is dangerous.Good thing I have experience going over handlebars. So I ordered this rear drive wheel.I just had to order a 12V female power connector so I can connect the same power supply that did nothave their current connector.I checked and sure enough if you buy a big brand power supply you will probably have to order one from them because it is not included in the kit and pay shipping just like this Prime customer.

Great Conversion kit
Update: Ebikeling sent me a new pedal assist sensor and now the pedal assist works great! So far I like everything about the kit. I only have one issue which was the pedal assist sensor and the vendor is sending me a replacement. Once I get the part I will update the post.
