It's a 10 Silk Express Miracle Silk Leave-In Formula, 10 Ounce

Product was recommended by my hairdresser. It works! I have long layered hair and it has a fine texture. This leave in conditioner is lightweight, last a very long time, and adds shine to your hair. It has no sticky feeling at all. I use it before straightening my hair and it is an awesome protection against the heat. Highly effective and excellent value because it will last a long time.

I love this product and use it almost daily. This last time I purchased I noticed the scent has changed. I tend to avoid products that are too “perfumey” so I’m a bit disappointed in the new smell. Maybe just a one-off? Still performs the same great way though.

I got a perm at an Aveda salon. Upon arrival, I asked my stylist of 4 years if she thought my medium brown colored hair could even tolerate a perm. Unfortunately, she was in a pissy mood and was acting put out about doing the perm for some unknown reason. Rather than answering my questions, she just started preparing the perm rods. Then I found out that Aveda doesn't even make perms anymore! Why didn't I get up and run out of there? Unknown. I stayed. Afterwards, my fine hair was a frizzed out, brittle, zombie, extremely dry MESS. I left in tears. Once home I wet my hair again with water. After gently squeezing my wet hair with a microfiber towel, I applied Matrix Miracle Treat 12 Lotion Spray and then the Silk Express Leave-in. I applied both products the same way as they are thicker lotions. I put two pumps of the Matrix in my hands and applied it to one front side, two more sprays for the other side, 2 sprays each for each back side, and 2 sprays for the way back, then repeat with the Silk Express. Afterwards I worked them in again together well. Then I finger combed my permed hair and let it air dry. When dry my hair looked healthy, soft, frizz free, and shiny. I was amazed. I know it sounds like I used a ton of product, but believe me, my hair drank it up. Once dry, it didn't feel greasy or weighed down at all. I just picked it out a little and it looked good. I do the same routine every time I wash my hair with the same results. Last week I made the mistake of deciding to use much less of each product listed above because I was also trying the It's a 10 Miracle Whipped Styling Balm for the first time. My hair turned out awful--dull, crispy, frizzy again. Now I'm not entirely certain how much the Miracle Whipped Styling Balm contributed to this disaster, but I'll save discussing how I felt about it for that review. What I do know, is that using ~1/2 the amount of my 2 lotion sprays was not a good idea. My hair needs all that moisture and conditioning until this perm grows out anyway. As an aside, I would just love to know of a gentle, effective perm for double processed hair (medium brown hair and a perm). Before my perm I used It's a 10 Silk Express Leave-in as well, though in a lesser amount, and still got soft, shiny, frizz free hair. Will continue to buy, highly recommend. I don't recommend spraying this directly on your hair as it's hard to distribute evenly and may be easy to use too much on one spot.

Fabulous for curly, dry and over styled hair. Nice fragrance. Use in conjunction with products made for this line and you will get a great result.
