MUST HAVE FOR TRAVEL!!!! - FANTASTIC
This was great. We had some blocks as well, but wow did this come through like a champ. It is a must have for two reasons. First, sometimes a block/brick adapter will take up too much room and not fit where you need it to fit. Second, and most importantly, all the European and English hotels we visited did not have plugs near the bed. Besides clocks, my wife and I have CPAP machines. This cord was just long enough to make it work for our trip. An extra (American) extension cord would have been even better, but there's no way we make a brick work. It does include 4 USB-A plugs so you'll need an adapter if you have a USB-C. But still, you MUST get this for your travels. Oh! It was very durable and resilient. No issues during our entire 16 days abroad.

Perfect
Worked beautifully for our trip overseas.

Good for light electronic equipment.
Worked very well even with an electric hair shaver (no weird buzzing like other step down power converters). Came with adapters of all shapes and sizes. Did not work with a hair straighter as others have said. This is good for light appliances such as laptops and phones. I needed the hair trimmer to work and it worked perfectly. Cannot speak to its longevity as we only used it six days in France.

A must have for European Travel!
So glad I bought this! On our recent trip to Ireland I used this every day to charge my phone, tablet, watch, etc. The only thing that didn’t work plugged into it was my hair dryer. It has many different plug styles for different countries. It is small and very packable. It is a must have for travel.

Great Travel Buddy!
I recently toured Europe and used this adapter/convertor, and it worked great, providing me connections for my chargers and other powered items.

4 weeks in Malaysia
I am planning on visiting Malaysia for a month. I knew that I would need an adapter to charge multiple items that I will be taking with me. I will be taking standard use items: iPhone, iPad, wireless headphones, rechargeable batteries, GoPro, and so on. In traveling in the past I found that I needed to charge multiple devices at once, traveling in the states I carry a multiple USB charging adapter. Since outlets are not always close to where you want to use the device I like the idea of a multi plug outlet as well as multiple USB outlets for charging with an extension cord built in.The device arrived quickly through Prime and was well packaged. The device is a three outlet power strip with 4 USB outlets on the side. Two USB outlets are labeled at 2.4 amps and two at 1 amp. Especially with larger devices like iPads, the 2.4 amp outlets should increase the speed at which they charge. The end power cord ends in a two prong plug in made for what looks like Europe. Included are three additional outlets for US and other world standards. The power cord plugs and unplugs into the main power strip unit. For a device that would sit under my desk for months or years this would be unnecessary. As a device that will be packed and unpacked on a regular basis I appreciate that the cord unplugs for packing and eliminates trying to put extreme bends in the cable where it connects to the device.I have been using the power strip at home before my trip and give initial observations. After the trip I will provide feedback on use internationally.Upon unpacking the unit feels solid and well made. Connecting the US two prong adapter was a simple process of pushing the adapter over the two prongs on the cord. Witht he device plugged in and sitting on a side table I noticed that it is solid and did not slide on the rubber feet on the base of the unit. There is a switch to turn the unit on and off. A few seconds after turning the unit on there was a slight hum, kind of like the fan in a computer tower. I am not a fan of extra noise, especially from a device that may be on all night while I am trying to sleep in a new place. I assume that it is needed for the circuitry since this will act as a transformer for potentially 240 volts in some countries for three outlets and 4 USB outlets. I have been using the charger in the living room in the evening while watching TV to charge my iPad, iPhone and other devices at times. So far it has been consistent in charging my devices with no faults or issues. Other than the low hum, it has been very nice having four USB charging outlets as I use my computer, pads and phone in the evening. The overall package is a little bit larger than I would normally like to include in my normal kit, although acceptable if I can consistently charge all of my devices internationally while I travel. I plan on packing it in my checked baggage and carry a smaller adapter in my carry on.Pro'sMultiple outletsMultiple USB outletsExtension cordOutlets snugSolidl buildConsLarger than I usually travel withHas a fan like hum when on

No travel storage bag:( No usb-c ports:(
This brand was recommended by my neighbor, when he showed me his, his was in a travel bag. It’s disappointing that this $31 travel adapter, step down converter did not have a travel bag to hold all the accessories. It also does not have any USB-C ports. I bought this as a gift for family member and I wish I had bought an upgraded brand. I’m surprised by all the positive reviews, but many reviews are older. It says do not use with hair dryers, or hair straighteners regardless of their wattage. If they are dual voltage, which many are you should be able to use them with a step down converter like this one. I’m seriously considering return this before 30 days. The advantages to a multi-port adapter with several different adapter plugs is if you are traveling to different countries, you might need multiple plug cube adapters, this is an all in one device with 5 different plug adapters 4 USB-A ports and 3 grounded type A outlets. However, this older adapter does not have some of the newer technology like USB-C ports which provide faster charging. The disadvantage to this type of adapter is the size, it is much bulky and heavier than a smaller cube style adapter. It includes type C, G, A, D and I plug adapters. I do wish it had a type A or US power cord instead of a built in C adapter plug, though all you have to do is use the type A adapter in the US. This 250W power adapter steps down or converts 220V to 110V to work in your dual voltage devices. It will work well with most household electronics, toothbrushes, cameras, smart phones, and tablets. However, this convertible adapter is not suitable for high-powered devices that require over 250W and are not dual voltage devices like hairdryers, clothing irons, coffee makers, etc. Check your devices imprinted label for the phrase 110V-220V. Today’s smart phones, and tablets are able to withstand both 110 V and 220 V electricity without damage because they’ve been manufactured as dual voltage appliances. These dual voltage devices that require less than 250W can plug and play right into this adapter. If your device has imprinted verbiage that says 110 V, 110V-125V, or a similar singular voltage number, you will need a voltage converter that converts 110 only voltage to use with a 220V outlet. This Bestex adapter converter steps down 220V to 110V for dual voltage devices up to 250 watts. It does not convert a non dual voltage device, you will need a voltage converter for those devices. You can power up to seven devices at once with the different ports and outlets. It has a 5 foot detachable power cord which is convenient because sometimes the cube adapters are so big they will block both outlets, or the outlet is located behind furniture and difficult to access. This adapter works in over 150 countries. It’s meant for American travelers traveling abroad, not European travelers traveling to the United States. Before ordering, check the label on your devices to see if it says 110V-120V (which would not be dual voltage), or 110V to 240V, (which would be dual voltage). If your device says the ladder, then it is dual voltage and will work in foreign countries with an adapter that runs on a different voltage. Non dual voltage devices and dual voltage over 250W will require purchasing a voltage converter or an upgraded higher watt adapter. Priced at $31 for older technology from a name brand is a pass for me.
