Universal Car Stereo Under Dash Kit / Overhead Car Stereo Mounting Dash Kit

I didn’t expect it to be as big as it is.. but for the price not complaining. I cut about 3 inches off the length of it. And it fit just fine and you can’t tell if it has been cut. Sure it will work fine for many other options. I used it in a 1988 Suzuki Samurai. I’m happy with it. And for the price I didn’t have a problem modifying it to fulfill my needs.

I used this to mount a car stereo in one of the basement storage areas on my motorhome. Combined with a couple of weather-proof Yamaha speaker boxes, this created a neat outside entertainment center that works great. Now I just flip open the door on the motorhome's basement storage area, and there is a nice stereo, well protected in this box.This stereo mounting box is made of heavy plastic, and is sturdy and well-constructed. It has some removable tabs to accommodate old style car radios which have a volume knob on the left and tuning knob on the right (who has one of those anymore?), but those tabs are easily removable (I used a loose hacksaw blade to remove them).A nice product at a reasonable price.

This radio box was made well, not using it under dash, this is a complete custom application I'm using it for. Will house my radio perfectly on TOP of my dash. We'll worth the price and is a good value.

This item did not fit my Fusion stereo. Too small even thought it is a 1 DIN. I did the return process only to find out they charged me $4 to return it. First time I have been charged to return anything from amazon...

I used this to install a Bluetooth/FM stereo (DIN size) under the dash in my 1967 Plymouth. The stereo was not deep (there is no CD mechanism), so I was able to cut about 3" off the back of the kit with no problems. This allowed me to tuck the stereo fairly close to the heater box on the passenger side of the car, essentially hiding it and keeping the interior looking 100% original.
