Kid Basix by New Wave Safe Sporter-Stainless Steel Lunch & Sport Water Bottle

We bought this for daycare, and we let my son practice with it beforehand. He was OBSESSED. He's only 18 months, so he can't get the cap off by himself, but he had no trouble drinking from it and carrying it around. The only thing we were a little concerned about is that if the spout is open, water pours freely from the spout, but otherwise there's no leaking if the spout is closed. Would buy again

Overall I love the water bottle. I feel very good about it being stainless steel to reduce germs and toxins. It's well made and goes through the dishwasher just fine. My only complaint is that sometimes it squirts out a burst of liquid. For instance, I went to open up the spout with my teeth and I was blasted with a gulp of water! I've also sent a mini jet stream into the air by opening it up while it was sitting on a table. It doesn't do this all the time though.

Overall appearance, function, and quality are good. However, there is an annoying design defect in the clear plastic flip lid.Originally ordered this product and it arrived with a crack and chunk broken off the small tab meant to help open the lid. Amazon was awesome in sending a replacement, which arrived quickly and intact. However, after only three days of use, the same place cracked and broke on the replacement item!I do t plan on returning it again or getting a replacement. It still functions well as a sport bottle but I would t purchase another in the future.

I love these water bottles but they really aren't 100% leak proof. Well maybe they are for about the first month then after being used and abused by my kids they start to leak out in my kids lunch bag. We still love to use them for sports and just everyday use.

After reading MANY reviews, I decided to go with this sippy/sport bottle. My son is 2yrs, 3mos old and can hold/use this bottle easily. It keeps his water cold for hours - we forgot it in the car once and the water was still COLD after 5+ hours in 100+ degree heat. It doesn't have any parts to remove and is easy to clean. It will spill water when thrown on the floor of the car if the cap isn't on/spout is open, but seals well/doesn't leak when the cap is properly closed.LOVE it! :)

I purchase this for my son to take daily to school in Texas. I did a test during my 6 year olds soccer camp to see if the water could stay cold all day during school out if the sun and heat. I used this outside in a cooler surrounded by ice packs. An hour after I filled it the ice was melted and shortly after the water was room temperature. Very disappointed. The cap protecting the sports top is a great thought but looked a little babyish for older kids.

Great for slightly older children. My 2 yr old has a hard time closing spout. But over all great.

Looks, and I was excited when I ordered it for my toddler, but really, it's just an ordinary bottle. The top is a bit hard to use for younger kids. The container is very sturdy though.

Most importantly doesnt leak ! The spout can be tricky to clean as it can collect a bit of dirt over time but soeaked in hot water does the trick.

Good quality bottle. My son dropped it and the cap chipped off. Now it leaks. But otherwise a very good bottle.

Great for kids, my second one, except my toddler ripped the plastic cover! Steel perfect always worry about the plastic bottles leaking chemicals, even the ones not meant to!
