Caudabe: The Veil iPhone 6/6S (4.7) Premium Ultra Thin Case (Blue) [Eco-Friendly Retail Packaging] Electronics

Excellent minimalist case for my new iPhone 6. The transparent case was not available so I ordered the blue and I'm very pleased with how it looks. I've owned the Caudabe Veil before for my iPhone 5s and was satisfied with it's overall performance. There was some problems with dirt & dust getting trapped under the case as the plastic started to lose its shape around the corners over time BUT I was always able to clean it off and like any iPhone case for this price range (and especially for minimalist iPhone cases), a bit of wear and tear is expected. Once the case became too worn out, which should last more than a year if your very particular in where you keep your iPhone, I simply bought a replacement. I've also accidentally dropped my iPhone 5s on several occasions (all within 3-4 feet off the ground) and luckily it did not sustain any damage and the case was able to protect it from scratches. That being said, Caudabe has made several improvements with this new model. The fit for the iPhone 6 is much more precise which is helped with the fact that the iPhone 6 has rounded edges and the iPhone 5s had squared corners. The case just clings to the shape of iPhone 6 so smoothly, it looks like it's part of the design. The case is also textured which gives you a better grip as you're holding you're iPhone and the camera slot in the back is raised slightly for minimal protection of the lens.

Long story short.. I bought a Caudabe the Veil case for my iPhone 6 two months ago. I was super happy with it, everyone complimented my case and asked where the heck did I get such thin and cool case. The other day, after I woke up, I tried to grab my phone from my bedside table (which is very low from the floor) and the phone slipped...Unfortunately the case broke, I do not understand how that happened... but it did what it is supposed to do which is protect the phone...my iphone was intact even tho the case broke.After that ephemeral 2 months happiness with my Caudabe case, I decided to contact customer service to see if they could help since I cannot find any other case like this (trust me I looked everywhere and no one has anything similar to The Veil) and to my SURPRISE Caudabe has an OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE, they where super quick answering my emails and they offered me TWO replacement (that's right two frikin replacements!!) I still cannot believe it I am so happy with my decision, I will definitely recommend Caudabe they really do care about their customers which is something very hard to find nowadays.100% Customer Satisfaction... I will recommend Caudabe to everyone and will keep telling my story. THANK YOU!!

I have had the iPhone since the 3GS, and this is absolutely the best case I've owned. It's not going to protect the phone against most drops, but I don't drop my phone. My cases are there to protect against pocket and table scratches, which this is perfect for. I can't stand added bulk, and it's insane how thin and form fitting this case is.As an added bonus, the customer service of Caudabe is top notch. Absolutely couldn't be happier with my purchase.UPDATE: After receiving my first Veil, i noticed one of the edges was a bit more rough than the rest, and it grated against my finger. I contact support about this, and without any fuss at all they sent me out a replacement. This second one has been great! They even allowed me to keep the first so that I wouldnt have to hastle with a return. Just fantastic customer care

There are some important things for you to know if you're considering this product.1) This will not offer much protection from falls, it is primarily for scratches and light drops. It is very thin and won't absorb much.2) After emailing the manufacturer, I was informed that Amazon is taking in used returns and then just reselling them. This happened to me! Thankfully the super fast and easy customer service from Caudabe sent me a new one ASAP!3) The feel is fantastic, not slippery. You also can appreciate just how thin your phone is with this veil (calling it a case or skin is almost calling it something too thick).4) If you don't want to scratch your veil, follow the instructions on the inside before trying to slip it on your phone!

The issue to me became how does this case stack up against Apples silicone case.A) I found this case attractive in that came in more colors than Apple offers..B) There were no noticeable differences in thickness between this and the Apple case.C) This case is definitely slippery, not at all grippy, and I dropped my phone numerous times with this case on in one week, (none bad enough to break the case or the iphone.)D) The price of this Canube case is half Apples $30 case.In the end I returned this and purchased the Apple case, due to item C (tit was oo slippery) and the grippier Apple case definitely met the cost benefit test, even despite item D. I was once again facing the reality that usually one gets what one pays for. That simple, really.

4 Stars because I really like it. I just don't know how well it protects it and I don't plan on testing it. It looks like it will prevent scratches, but as far as dropping it, I have my doubts. As far as looks, it looks great and doesn't add much additional weight or size and is why I bought it. So I'm very satisfied with that aspect.

As described, it's super super thin. This is not a bad thing, so for all those haters who say "no drop protection at all!" -- what the hell were you thinking? They say up front it's .3mm thick. Take some accountability. I think the only drawback is that the finish is very very matte and it makes the phone slippery.

I purchased the blue case, I was looking for the slimest case I could find and I think I succeeded in that regards. However, the case is very slippery and not the matte soft feel finish I was hoping for.Do you offer a more matte rubbery finish with better grip? As I am back on my search for a new slim case...
