I love the design of these. So much so I bought two of them. The black one came as expected. I also bought the blue which I was hoping would be more of a bright turquoise like the picture but isn’t quite the same and the colour is a bit more dulled down with some brown but it’s still nice. Overall, the lid is a great idea. Stops the smell considerably and I find it easy to wash and dry. The little perch in the middle is great for keeping your item elevated above the ash that collects below and the little dents make it easy to leave them for later with the lid so they don’t get crushed or misshapen. Bought this for in-laws back yard, so it looks like a nice ornamental piece with the lid on top and serves well for my needs, sure rain water gets in but its not hard to dump out id recommend this ashtray
