It works to remove calcium deposits from contacts. I usually use it several time for best results, using fresh saline each time.

Looks like a toy, but it does work! These have been around for many years, often sold as "ultrasonic lens cleaners." You put your lenses in the case, add your favorite solution, then place the case in the unit. Push a button......it vibrates......give it 2-5 minutes......push button to stop. Clean(er) lenses. I use it every night for my 2-week disposable lenses. A "AAA" battery last a few months (as long as you don't forget to shut it off!). It works as well as the units costing $40-$100 and it's cheap. My first one lasted 2 years.

Super cute. I leave two different models that I purchased from Amazon. What I like about this model is that the contact case is removable where as the other model was not. What I liked about the other model was I could plug it in. This is my favorite though due to the removable thus replaceable contact case.I feel like either model vibrates enough to give a good washing of my soft lenses.my eyes feel good after a couple of minutes in the little machines. Clever!

I bought this for my boyfriend, a little kiddish looking but effective. He works with oils and chemicals in dusty conditions. After a few days he would complain that his contacts were cloudy. He would clean them with solution and his fingers, but it just wasn't doing the job. By the evening he was ready to get the contacts out because they were cloudy and uncomfortable. Obviously, changing his contacts every few days was out of the question monetarily. Desperate I took a chance on this contact cleaner. One use and he is hooked. He said that his contacts were clear and were much more comfortable. He was able to leave the contacts in until he was ready to go to bed. The contact case is removable so it could be replaced. You just insert AAA battery in the bottom and push the on button. You will need to turn it off by pushing the button again once you have let it run.

So cute and it cleaned my contacts very well they felt very comfortable afterwards. (That was my initial review. Two months later it doesn’t work at all!)

Not only is it adorable but it works well. It would be nice if it had an automatic timer that shuts off after 3 minutes but other than that I love it :)

I actually love how this cleans my lenses. My vision is so much clearer than any hand rubbing and soaking could ever get.However my product came defective. The on button doesn't work properly. I have to hold the button down for three minutes. The instructions say I should just be able to press the button down and walk away while it cleans.Well in order for it to work I have to hold the button down for the entire cleaning process. So I'm giving it two stars for being poor quality control on the companies part. They need to do better. I'll change my rating if they ship out a replacement that works properly!
