Great hose, sturdy and does not get stiff in cold weather which makes them much easier to use. Also this hose is least likely to jump around and smash plants. Less kinking too.

UNKINKABLE! Well It will kink but bounces right back to normal with zero damage to the hose! Which is unheard of in hoses. I would buy this hose again. It is nice and heavy. It does tend to get tangled a bit easy, but that may be the case with any hose especially of this diameter. I did not feel it is a problem with the hose so still rated it 5 stars. We use this as an industrial product washing semi trucks and it has held up well thus far. The metal clamps holding the end fittings on the hose are a little sharp where they sheared the metal to make the band, but can probably be easily filed down. We have not done so as of yet and still like the product...not that much of an issue unless you are buying this for your kids sprinkler...guessing not tho.

I needed a 100 ft hose, so wanted to get a quality one. The make of the hose is great and I think it will last, however it's so heavy to move around that I have trouble coiling it well. It also cannot sit on the grass for long without matting it.

Love this American company. They make the best products. But in this case I need a 3/4” hose, the hose is 3/4 but the fittings are 5/8” Inside diameter.When making heavy duty attachments that are banded on like these I don’t see how else they could make the hose and keep it bulletproof.But I sometimes need 1-1/2” of water flow from my pump (fire), and the 5/8 fittings cause an interruption in the water flow.Probably a tradeoff between pressure and volume.I’ve found one hose that is 3/4”id with brass fittings a few years ago.Now they’re plastic fittings which don’t stand up to people running over them.10 stars for an American company still making products.Maybe someone knows the specs with these fittings vs 3/4?

I wanted the best hose so I was willing to pay for it. Little did I know that this was way too much hose for my simple needs. I got a complete upper body workout trying to wrestle this monster! just saying I take total responsibility for not knowing better.

This hose is awesome, as I expected it to be. The rubber hoses have a natural inclination NOT to twist, and this helps to keep it from kinking. We've had another Continental rubber hose in our front yard for years, with nary a problem. This one will be in the back yard, and exposed to much more sun, particularly harsh her in Southern California, so not sure how it will hold up, but loving it right now.
