Perfect for my Renaissance project but I’m not sure it’ll be great for most
I bought a couple yards of fabric for a Renaissance style chemise/slip and the fabric is perfect, I think, for the eye old time aesthetic. It’s a bit see through (as can be slightly seen un the picture) and rough but I think it’s nearly perfect for my project. It’s sturdy, rigid and thick. I’m not a connaisseur of fabrics and I’m very new to sewing but the machine took better to it than most fabrics I’ve tried. It’s almost like, I don’t know, denim? I like it but it’s not for the fair hearted.Lots of Love,Harriet

Kona = Quality
I am a quilter. When I am looking for a nice white background fabric for a quilt..what I usually find are the thin "white on whites"I tried this Kona "Snow" as an alternative and I will never purchase an inch of the "white on white" again. This fabric has a great feel and weight. It is good quality and easy to work with. Cuts way down of "show-through" of seams and stray threads when making quilts.The color "Snow" looks good with other colors. It is not a bright white..so not so glaring or cold looking.Great fabric!

Not quite as expected
It seems that every "modern" quilter uses Kona Snow as a background fabric. I've done mostly scrappy quilts, so when I wanted several yards of white, I decided to order Kona Snow.The fabric is very nice to work with. I didn't wash it before using because the other fabrics in the quilt are pre-cuts that couldn't be washed. It remains to be seen what it's like after washing. I was a bit disappointed that the color wasn't whiter -- somehow "snow" connotes a pure white, at least to me. I also have found that the weave is a little loose. If the fabric isn't cut exactly on the grain (!) there's more raveling than in other higher-end quilting cottons.These aren't deal-killers. But it was a little disappointing.

Not a bright white
I love the Kona solids, but know that this is not pure white in color. It’s a little more off white. I’m not sure why the company calls this “Snow” because it’s not a bright white like snow. I couldn’t use it in my quilt but I’ll save it for another quilt. I ended up ordering “white” from Missouri Star to match my project. All in all, the Kona solids are the best quality solid fabrics made.

Color of Kona Snow is correct.
I didn't read the reviews stating that the "Snow" fabric was not the correct shade until after I already purchased it and was super nervous while waiting for it to arrive. I am in the middle of a holiday tablerunner and ran out of Kona Snow fabric. I bought my first supply of Kona Snow from MSQC, and I can confirm that at least the fabric I received from Amazon is the correct shade and weave, perfectly matching what I received from MSQC.Note: Kona Snow does have a beige or even reddish tint to it - it is not a pure white or even an off-white (I agree that the name "snow" is a bit misleading). Maybe others did receive the wrong fabric and I got lucky, or Robert Kaufman changed the color recently, or they are thinking of Moda's "snow" fabric, but what I received from Amazon is the correct, current Kona Snow shade.

Kona cotton is superb!
I really love the Robert Kaufman Kona Cottons! They are always soft and come in a spectrum of great colors (this "snow" color is one of my favorites! I use often for quilt backing, and quilt background).

Kona is wonderful fabric
Love Kona fabric. Such a wonderful weight of fabric for quilting. My only issue is the color. Snow was actually a slight beige color so it didn't match my white quilt blocks. But I'll definitely use it for something else. It was so reasonably priced, I would even consider it for a quilt back.
