Simple, impressed with its ease-of-use
I ordered this wireless setup as an experiment. Our group practices indoors, and while I have a decent UHF wireless system, this looked to be a nice simple option for practice. What I discovered? This unit is SOO easy to use, I am finding more-and-more that it's incredibly useful.I've gotten at least 3 hours' use out of the batteries on a single charge.I've used this during a gig for one whole set - flawless. To its detriment, there seems to be a limit in headroom - it is either clipping at the very top, or there is some sound compression or noise reduction circuit that I could hear. However, while playing our first set, I could hardly notice any difference in sound quality compared to a direct cord. so while it's not perfect, it's darned close. For wjhat it's worth it does not seem to change the Tonal Quality - overtones and harmonics seem to be the same.I also noticed no delay (This was my biggest worry) since it's a digital signal, I thought there might be some encoding / decoding delay when transmitting the digital signal to the receiver.Bottom line, this wireless adapter is reasonably priced, works very well, sounds good, and even if you use it for practice and not live performances, it's been highly versatile and worth the price.

excellent for home use & the cost!
What can I say other than this is one of my best purchases this year! i use it everyday & it works without issue. What more can you ask for from a product thats a fraction of other. Range is fine, in fact i can go to the furthest room in my house through walls & it works fine. simple setup, no lag & no more cables! One thing i wish was the transmitters battery lasted a little longer but it does last for about 3-4 hrs which is fine for home & honestly its not something you can gripe about for the price. oddly thought the receiver seems to last longer, this may be because it uses less juice to receive or the battery is slightly larger as the whole unit is.

Excellent for the price!
Works well for the price. Easy to get started on this as manual is very straightforward. Some correcting functions in case of noise but if you try to use live and it starts with the noise, the anti interference doesn't seem to do too well, might as well give up. It happened at one of my shows, there's not much time for live setup so tried several time to resync and it didn't happen and I went to cable.Length is decent to about 5-10 metres line of sight. For the price it is great, especially for home practice. There are some artifacts and a little noise but at that price I don't expect wonders. The rigid plastic construction might do some damage to guitars, and it is better to put this on a strap pack with extender, a 1/4 male to 1/4 female cable works OK so it won't damage your guitar.Charger could've had 2 USB ports and 2 charging cables as you would need to charge both units anyway. Also they used mini USB as nowadays the prevalent connectors/charges are micro USB. I just went to a 2nd hand charger that has 2 USB ports and an extra mini USB cable to save time.I am giving this a 4 as it is not the perfect wireless, but considering the price it is a good product!

Great item for the price!
This item is awesome! I use it on my amp using all my guitars or directly into any sound system with an auxiliary with any adapters that I can use for hook ups. Even great on my mix boards for live recordings or live sound through my PA. I don't notice a delay like others say and I don't hear any static or buzzing sounds it's pretty good for the price. It has a good rang and a good battery life. I've had mine for about 2 years with the same results. I'm thinking of buying another set for my son who is getting really into music this past year playing bass and guitar. Cords do get in the way and if you add wireless head phones it's great for practice! Over all there great!

looking for a long time
I wish the review below had of held up. The battery lasted a long time for two sessions, Then nest time I used it, the battery went dead in about 5 minutes. I thought I may have not them fully charged. So I made I left them on charge longer even after the light went out.Tried once more at church. The thing went dead right in the middle of a song I was playing. But I have had it too long to send back, so I'm stuck. I wish they would make one that used regular AA or AAA batteries that you could replace and buy them anywhere. As long as the battery holds out the thing works better than any thing I have seen before, and being able to put the guitar and the mike into the amp or pa system is the best idea I have ever heard of.I liked it so much when the battery held out! I may try another one. My buddy got one for his bass and it has worked for over 10 sessions now and he loves it.I had wanted a wireless guitar system for a long long time.Saw this one and watched demo's on you tube. Ordered mine and took to church.Sitting on the very back row of my church playing my guitar and singing with the mike plugged into the guitar unit.Great guy playing bass up front beside my amplifier. My buddy that plays bass for me, walked in! heard me singing and playing. He looked around up front for me. Only my voice and guitar were up front. Looked back and saw me in the back.I got him!!! I just had a cheep head phone mike, and even it worked without any feed back.I'm ordering another one for my vass player, so when we go to play at nursing and assistant liveing home. we only have to take an amp that can take a bass and guitar. The only thing that concerns me? Is the battery is not replaceable and I haven't had a chance to see how long a charge will last. Wish it had batteries that I could pick and any store and keep extra's.Would recommend it and love it for now. There was no drop out or static of any kind, and I could not detect any lag time.I will get a better mic. would like to have one like Charles Stanly, But I know I could never afford one like that. When first reviewed the Joyo, I hadn't had it long enough to check battery life.Since then I have used mine in a long program that lasted over 3 hours.I was concerned all the time that the battery would fail, but it didn't, and only took about 45 minutes to recharge when I got home.If mine had such a short life like one of the reviewers? I would send it back.I wish they had made it to use regular batteries that could be bought anywhere say 9 volt or double A or triple A batteries.

Joyo Wireless guitar transmitter/receiver
I have just received the wireless Joyo JW-01 rechargeable guitar to amp receiver/trans device and have tried it out! I find it works wonderfully and am not aware of any delay re signal! It was simplicity iteself to set up which is a huge plus point as far as I am concerned as some electrical items seem to require a degree in electronics to make them work! Switched on both parts of the device and pressed the little switches to pair the two receiver and transmitter parts, plugged one into my guitar and the other into the amp, switched it all on again and it worked beautifully first time! I also was able to roam about with my guitar and sit anywhere in the room even with pieces of furniture between the guitar and amp with no problems. I also was able to play in a completely different room and the signal penetrated the very thick stone walls and was picked up by the amp with ease! A FABULOUS piece of kit!! Tried it out with a couple of electric guitars and an electro acoustic and it worked beautifully with all of these. I haven't tried to charge it yet so can't comment on that aspect as yet but would note that the charger had a continental two pin plug and I have had to buy a continental to UK adaptor which I think I shouldn't have had to do as the item is sold here in the UK but that is a small niggle and hopefully the adaptor will mean the recharging will work with no problems now? I would thoroughly recommend the JOYO as it is a super little device and works straight out of the box and was very reasonably priced at just over £60. including the P/P charge! Highly recommended! I wrote this review over 2 years ago and just want to add that the Joyo is still working perfectly and is amazing value for money!! I have no noise problems with any amp or guitar I have used with it and find it literally a joy to use as it is wonderful to be free of wires and cables while playing I also use an inexpensive wireless headset mic with it from time to time and have no problems or interference from either device I note some reviewers are suspicious or dismissive as this is an inexpensive setup but it works perfectly for me and I have no hesitation in recommending it completely after road testing it for over two years now! Just another update; It is now 2018 and the little Joyo is still with me and still working!! Excellent..buy it!!!

Great product - be prepared to try a different guitar.
Arrived in good time and the units were already matched so I didn't need to bother with the procedure to do this - which is described in Chinese English but easy enough to follow.I first used a parlour acoustic guitar which has an LR Baggs fitted and there was a considerable hiss from the Amp, but when I switched to another acoustic with a fishman system and the results were astonishing. I can't comment on longevity yet but my initial impression of this is fantastic. I've also used a cheap headset mic with it and this has worked well for busking purposes / and times when you just don't fancy being resticted by having leads everywhere.

Very, Very portable wireless guitar solution
Very, very portable. I really like bells and whistles and wanted belt transmitter and console type receiver which could sit on the amp flashing lights etc. However, on reflection the units I wanted were rather pricey and the affordable ones were suspiciously cheap ! This unit(s) was only £25 (can be obtained on eBay for less) and has the advantage of being digital (2.5G Audio transfer) with a decent range. It also has built in rechargeable lithium batteries (power supply and cable supplied. One useful thing to note about the power supply is that it has an indicator light - the light stays on after the charging lights go out when fully charged) which can hold their charge for 6 hours (the box says) - currently I have managed nearly 5 hours without signs of giving out (I also have two Power Bank chargers which can provide charge when out). Just press the two buttons on each unit to match them to each other and you are off - no leads to trip over or be disconnected. Magic. The sound (I play bas guitar) is not as deep as with a cable supplies but tweaking the guitar/amp controls resolves the issue to some extent. Latency is 10ms which un-noticeable (to me). Latency may get worse with distance but as I don't plan to be out of sight of my amp I'm not bothered. My only real grip (so far) is that the transmitter fits at a right angle to the guitar socket. This does not suit my Jazz Bass which has a front mounted socket, the transmitter could easily bang into mike stands etc. ( depending on your play position you could hang your hat on it and get the girls really excited!) I have resolved the problem by getting a right angled (Mono) 1/4 inch adaptor which I then plug the transmitter into (problem solved) - I may do the same for the amp. Transmitter and receiver both have led indicator lights so I still get some bling effect. Additionally the unit also has a mic socket (plus its own volume control).
