Sticks Like a Clingy Ex, But Way More Useful
not Tegaderm—it’s better. Well, not better in branding, but definitely in price and size. These giant clear bandages are the unsung heroes of my first aid drawer. Cut them down to whatever Frankenstein shape you want—just remember to round the corners unless you enjoy the thrill of adhesive peeling off mid-shower like a disappointing plot twist.I slap one over my CGM and, shocker: it actually stays on for the full 14 days. That includes daily showers, Florida sweat marathons in the garden, and the occasional swim where I pretend I’m not just a soggy goblin. Sure, an edge might rebel, but a quick trim and the mutiny ends there. The oversized sheets make surgical patch jobs a breeze.Bonus use? New tattoos. I layer on balm, slap this clear armor on top, and boom—no lint, no dog hair, no waking up stuck to your sheets like a crime scene. Keeps your fresh ink protected while you sleep and avoids that crusty regret feeling when your balm dries out overnight.Honestly, I’ve scoured the internet like a caffeinated raccoon and still haven’t found a better deal. These bandages do their job, don’t bankrupt me, and make me feel like I know what I’m doing. Five stars. Would slap on my skin again.

Strong Hold With Large Coverage For Covering My Port
I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma cancer and because it's a cancer with no cure yet, I opted to get a power port for easy access for IV drugs and blood draws. I'm happy to chose this route as I can't imagine having to get an IV put in every freaking week. However, you still have to be stuck and it's not a small needle. One of my nurses suggested lidocaine cream, but to cover it with saran wrap. First of all, saran wrap is NOT the best idea. Trying to tape down the edges, messing with saran wrap that always wants to stick to itself, I mean it's messy and too time consuming.I jumped on Amazon and came across these film dressings and ordered. Wow, what a difference it makes! I glob on a huge chunk of lidocaine cream, and quickly and easily apply this film dressing over it. I do this two hours before being stuck with the needle (best time to insure I feel absolutely nothing), and then I jump into the shower to get ready for my day. No water gets past this thing once it's adhered to your body and in fact, you got to work at the edge to get a place to peel it off. It does come off easily once you get a hold of the edge though, so that's nice. This is my 3rd time ordering these due to being treated for over a year and half. I ran out and hadn't ordered yet and had to run by Walgreens for a quick fix. I think it was a NexCare brand but they were so much smaller and didn't do the job. Needless to say, I placed an order for these and promptly threw the others in the trash. This is the only film dressing I'll be using from here on out to cover my lidocaine on my port. I highly recommend them - they do everything they say!!

Just keep an eye on them
I use patches for long-term pain treatment. The actual patches are adhesive, but can fall off easily. Since I have frequent children visits and a family dog, it's not safe unless I put one of these patches over the other one. It has to be a clear, medical grade cover like this one. Everything about it is right, but they do tend to peel away. I would definitely recommend them, but you need to watch them so they don't fall off. It's happened twice.

Adequate but could use stronger adhesive
Patch is just a bit smaller than standard. Adhesive works well when first applied, following a shower and drying off, it still held to the skin. However after 12 hours the edges started to fall off the skin. I would have expected the patch to adhere more and to last at least 24 hours.

About as good as the name brand
These worked great for me- at a much lower cost than from the drug store, great option for large skin injuries that require a lot of time to heal and many dressing changes.
