Not compatible with Listerine mouthwash and certain other fluids
On my first trip with my new GoToob, it worked just fine for my shampoo, but my Listerine mouthwash leaked (fortunately I had it in a Ziploc bag, and it just leaked a little bit). I was going to complain to the manufacturer before returning it to Amazon, but when I searched the web for "GoToob mouthwash," I found a list on the manufacturer's web site of 39 incompatible fluids, including Listerine. The majority of the incompatible products seem to be cosmetic-related, and there are a few surprises (e.g., "Single Malt Scotch Whiskey"). I definitely recommend looking at the list before purchasing this item to make sure it will work for what you plan to put in it.I wish there had been a link to that list in the description for this product, since mouthwash seems to be a very common travel item (and was the main reason I bought this)!

Know what you're getting
Pros:- 3 oz size is perfect for carryon- Four 3 oz tubes fit comfortably in a 1 qt Ziploc bag- Non-reactive with *most* liquids- Silicone material doesn't get hard & brittle when cold- Stays fairly grippy in a soapy hand- Generally doesn't leak, even with pressure changes- Manufacturer will replace broken capsCons:- Caps are brittle- The suction cup (2 oz) model is awful and shouldn't even be on the market- The "contents" embossed lettering is useless- Low-viscosity oils and lubricants are pretty much guaranteed to leak past the self-sealing "gasket" design- ExpensiveWe use these literally every day -- in the shower, for camping trips and air travel, so the price is easier to justify. I threw away 2 of the 2 oz suction cup bottles when they unstuck from the wall and the caps broke on the tile floor, before learning that Humangear will replace them under lifetime warranty.Based on experience (both good and bad) I wouldn't put thin, viscous liquids like massage oil or personal lubricant (especially a silicone-based lubricant) in these. We've never had the slightest problem with soaps, lotions, sunblock, or shampoo but those thin oily things are a no-go. Use a Nalgene bottle with threaded cap, instead.

best feature: wide mouth
There are two good things (two stars worth) about any size GoToob: they work very well when they are FULL, and they have a wide mouth so you can stick your finger inside to get what you need after they stop working so well, which is most of the time. Also: good for clean-up after you get home.

Control your carry-on
I travel a fair amount for work and a little bit for pleasure. Wherever possible, I try to not check luggage. It is all about the fear that the airlines will lose my bag (which they have done many times), having to wait at carousels (SFO is the worst) and the TSA rifling through my checked piece and not putting things back carefully. So - you need the right equipment. The Toobs allow you to use your home gels and liquids instead of buying more expensive travel sizes. The color coding is nice but I would just prefer clear as you can usually tell what is what and if not, a marker or label can help with that. My only complaint is the size of the cap. I know that it is large for the reason that the need to be filled but the cap takes up a lot of room in one-quart bag. Possibly there could be some kind of funnel or injector syringe that could be used to fill these guys?

No good for flying, great for regular use
These bottles are great for everyday use (like in your gym bag) but I've tried them flying a couple times now, and they leak every time we fly.

Good, but...
I love these bottles, they're great and useful for travel. But one of mine (the clear one to be specific) has expanded. It has increased by about 1/6th of it's size. I was concerned by the dropping levels of lotion that I had in it despite no apparent leakage and no use. Then when I was going to pack everything together, I noticed a size discrepancy. Not only is it larger, it is also taller and the words (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc) were above the white band. When I first opened the package they were all the same size. Has anyone else had this happen to them? It's frustrating as I now cannot take this bottle because it does not fit in the 1qt plastic bag and I can only take carry-on luggage.

Leaky!
Because of the way these bottles are constructed, the silicone body of the bottle isn't actually connected to the white plastic lid part. This causes it to come apart when you squeeze the bottle to get the last bit out, and for less viscous liquids to leak out - my shampoo isn't on the non-compatible list, but a lot leaks out. They're a good size and easy to fill, but now when I use them they each go in separate ziploc bags, which vaguely defeats the purpose. For this price, I would have expected them to not leak.

Great product, great customer support
I started working out three mornings a week in the gym at my office. Since they have a nice locker room and showers, I bought the 3-pack of 3-oz GoToobs for my shampoo, conditioner, and shower soap to take to the gym. They are the perfect size, easy to fill (specifically with some of the thicker shampoos and conditioners), and they do not leak. The best part of my story is that I dropped one of the GoToobs in the shower and a piece of plastic broke off the lip of the flip cap. I wrote their customer service inquiring how I might get a replacement cap. They wrote me back the same day and said they would send one right out to me at no cost. Not only did they send me two caps, they sent me another whole GoToob (1.25 oz)! This is standing behind your product 100%!I highly recommend these for use in the locker room, for traveling, and even for home use. Be careful to read the list of fluids you cannot put in a GoToob on their website [...]
