It works well. Not great, but serves its purpose and is built well. Would I recommend it or buy it again, yes. But I’d also like to see alternative products or changes to this one.We use it with demo hammers for tile demo. For dust extraction we have an IQ426Hepa dust extractor. For the price point it’s a great dust extractor. Paired it with a Mullet brand cyclone separator. Those two together work wonders. We run long hoses from the extractor to the separator. Then run about a 6ft hose from the separator to the tool. This gives just enough room to move around easily, while debris doesn’t get caught in a long hose. If there’s ever a clog, it’s 6ft to clear.Now back to this attachment. We downsize from a 2.5” hose down to this smaller hose. It has enough suction to pick up small chips as well as dust. Main problem is that there are two rubber fins at the mouth of this hose. They quickly got clogged from chips not passing through. Day 1 I cut those out with a knife and we have had far fewer jam ups.But now that I made the modification to the fins, I’m thinking that it might be nice to see something with a 2.5” hose all the way to the end. Our dust extractor seems that it has enough air flow that a wider hose might pull and eliminate more dust. There’s already a wide scoop on the end of this attachment, so it wouldn’t change too much with ease of use.Id say this takes care of 50-60% of dust. Sometimes more, sometimes less depending on how close the dust is to the hose end. That’s decent. But if working inside a home, I’d still bank on using an air scrubber as well.My only curiosity is getting a wide hose option. That might take care of 75-80% dust and less dependency on the air scrubber in tight spaces and rooms.
