Fits beautifully

Years ago, I had a black beret that I lost in a taxi when I got out to go to the airport. I sorely missed it. It was soft, fit great, and shaped just perfectly to make me look super-duper terrific. I've been on a quest to find a suitable replacement. About a year ago, I bought a black beret that initially seemed promising, but it was incredibly itchy and I returned it. I happened to notice the Braxton Wool Beret and decided to give it a go because it looks nifty on the model shown. I also liked that it included angora. It was nicely packaged and arrived when promised. Best of all, it doesn't itch and it fits nicely. I would have given it five stars for style, but it merely makes me look stylish, rather than super-duper terrific (LOL). I have heavier hats for colder weather. The beret is more of a change-of-weather topper. I'm happy with this purchase and hope you'll be equally happy with your Braxton hat.

I was looking for a high quality women's beret. I read the product info and reviews, and ordered another brand, but it was WAY too small, popping right off my head. I looked further and ordered this Braxton. Yay! It stays on my head, coming just over my ears, and the band does not cause a headache. It is large enough in the cap to create a very attractive fold down to one side, or not. It is lined with another, softer layer of material for extra warmth. The little nub on the top makes it look very French, but it is made in Ukraine! I'm so pleased with this bigger, better, high quality beret!

I really like the feel of how this beret fits and feels. It is soft and does not compress your hair down to give you "hat head" when you remove it. The beret is a nice quality, too.

This is my favorite hat. It kept me warm all Winter without giving me "hat hair". I think it looks great too!

It's an OK beret but I have short hair and I just can't seem to make it look cute on me. I'm still going to wear it, though, because it's very warm. I did wash it before I wore it just for sanitary purposes. Good thing I did because the water was black. Yes, my hat is black, but this was not dye from the hat. It looked like dirt. I hand-washed it in cool, slightly warm water and air dried the hat but it looks as if it might have shrunk just a bit and lost a little of its shape. I would suggest that if you wash your hat, use cold water, hand wash and air dry as the directions say.
