You Will Drown in Love, Vol. 2

The story continues for this couple as they face one of loves hurdles: Jealousy. When a new face shows up at the shop, it seems he's got his eyes set on the taciturn Reiichiro who remains as dense as ever to the attentions, driving Jinnai crazy with worry on the side lines. But could it be that it is not Reichiro this new character has his sights on?! And what will Reiichiro do about this? How will he react? It gets hot more that enough times in this volume, sure to satisfy you (just as and more) than its previous volumes! Highly recommend this if you're a follower of this series! The ending is perfect!

I really liked this series.. starting with YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE, however I kind of liked You will drown in love vol 1 better... However, I still cannot wait until the third one comes out!!

This series is a must buy if you're a yaoi fan, the story and art is great.

I loved it.

I'll admit, I wasn't a big fan of the original series (You Will Fall In Love) but You Will Drown In Love has me seriously hooked. This seems to be a theme with Hinako Takanaga books. Challengers was good, but the spin off (The Tyrant Falls in Love) was SO much better too. Either way, I'm a big fan of her books. I own a few of them in Japanese (which I can barely read.)You Will Drown in Love volume 2 has all the things I loved about volume 1: Reiichiro being oblivious and Jinnai freaking out from the sidelines. This time around a second "love interest" has been added in the form of Kijima, a superior from the store's main office. You might guess what's going on before the characters do but the story plays out so well that I don't even care. It is HILARIOUS. And sweet. And hilarious. And it actually did manage to surprise me a couple of times. I've already reread the book many times. I can't wait for more. I hope there will be. A lot. You Will Drown is my second favorite Hinako Takanaga series (Tyrant, being the first) so I hope to see many more books come my way. I will gladly buy them all. I'm sure they'll keep me just as entertained as this one has. It may not have a lot of sex (but that's not really what I look for anyway) but it has great character interactions and great humor.And in case there was any need to say it: the art is fantastic. Takanaga's art has become a bit more streamlined over the years but I can't really complain. Some of the characters look similar (but not enough to be confusing) but they're all so well drawn. I love the hands and the eyes especially. I could stare at the art all day.

Reiichiro, Tsukasa’s emotionally withdrawn brother, puts in an appearance in this story, the sequel to  You Will Drown In Love Volume 1 GN by Hinako Takanaga (21-Apr-2009) Paperback . Being so standoffish, love for him is a more difficult proposition, making this tale of love more tense than its prequel. Veering between love and distance, propriety and immorality (getting involved with a business associate? How scandalous!), there is a more serious graphic novel than its predecessor. It has the effect of intensifying the love plot, making it all the sweeter when Reiichiro finally gives in to his emotions

Ok I so love this series. The prequel was good, but the You Will Drown in Love series is better. This one was really good, because I love seeing Jinnai acting all jealous, plus the twist I didn't see coming was great. Can't wait for vol 3. Its already out in Japan, so I hope we'll get it this coming year, otherwise I'll have to import it!
