Fitment: I wear a Men's US size 10-10.5 for boots and shoes and 10.5-11 for sneakers and find the Men's medium width to fill out the shoe perfect. I do go wide on some of my shoes and these trees adjust perfectly.If you have a narrow toe loafer or cowboy boots with a point or snip toe in my size then I would use a Women's XL size tree as the women's are much narrower at the toe.QUALITY: They are well made and have a great natural cedar aroma unlike others that seem to be overpowering because they were sprayed with a cedar scent. Using them on wear shoes &6months later the tension is still perfect. Since Covid-19, They really do help keep workout sneakers fresh and dry and help with minimizing a hard crease after use.Customer service: I believe the distributor is M&N International Group Inc. Out of 6 orders of 6-packs I only had one defective piece where the release hook part came broken. This seems like it was inevitable as that would be the weakest link in the manufacturing process. Cedar can split easily to begin with naturally. I emailed them at 11am and two hours I received a confirmation email stating they will send me a replacement and the tracking info. All this in the midst of Covid-19. Good quality product tied with great customer service deserves and supportive and articulate review.

for those who want to keep the shape of their boots. I own several pairs of boots and this is my second purchase of this product, so it's a bit costly but over the plastic ones being sold, no comparison, obviously. The cedar is not overbearing on smell but I wish it was a bit more prominent. These are easy to insert and holds the shape. Only complaint is cost. Arrived in a very sturdy box but it shows the contents if you're intending to gift.

I've been using plastic shoe trees for many years, and yes, they're a very good choice if you want your expensive shoes to last more than a year or two, and these cedar trees are an improvement. Each pair is sided, left or right, so they fit the shoe better; look closely at the forward part, and notice that one side is thicker (the big toe side) than the other, just like your foot. They seem to fit in either shoe, BUT they fit better when in the correct (left or right) shoe.I'm a size 9, which is about the middle for this size. The spring provides a snug fit, and does not flex the sole. I set my plastic ones to flex the sole a bit; perhaps I was wrong. I'm considering getting some thick cotton cloth to wrap the vamp once or twice and to pack into the toe, to absorb much more of the day's sweat (they'll get laundered every month or so) and pack the shoe just a bit more firmly.

The product is well built and is of good quality. I ended up ordering another set of 6 after getting the first set.
