My mouse search is over - this is the one.
I had been through a Corsair M65, a couple Logitechs, and a Deathadder before I found the simple design and low price of this mouse appealing, and decided to give it a shot. A year later, and I am never buying another mouse. It's got a nice even weight, quality design without bloating it with too many bells and whistles, the finish on it hasn't worn away or gotten tarnished from heavy use, and the performance is excellent. If you're wanting some Optimus Prime stuff with tons of macros and adaptable weights, this isn't for you. If you're wanting something a touch above minimalist with solid quality at an amazing price? You've found the only mouse you'll ever need.

So far so good.
Back in the day, a 3 button logitech would last many years. That all changed when I upgraded to 5 button 'gaming' mice. Most of these flashy expensive mice don't last 2 years, so there's no way I'm buying a 60$ mouse when its' reviewers are generally happy with their 1-3 year lifespan. This Turtle Beach is a fairly simple gaming mouse, at an attractive price. It thankfully lacks RGB flashing lights and gaudy designs. It's only missing feature is that sensitivity is a switch on the bottom of the mouse as opposed to an extra button on top.I'm not sure I want that feature, as accidentally switching sensitivity would be a real problem, and cost and failure rates are pretty important to me... besides - sensitivity is better handled by software. If you can add an extra button to the mouse for sensitivity, make a 6 button mouse instead and allow any button (keyboard or mouse) to switch between configurable sensitivity settings based on the currently running fullscreen app. After all - I need different settings for different games, and some games (Warframe for example) have different sensitivity sliders for different game modes, so they need no external modes.

Good quality and value!
This is my first real gaming mouse and so far I'm quite pleased. It's very comfortable and attractive with the rubbery textured matte black surface and the glowing red wheel and logo. The braided cable appears durable and doesn't interfere with movement. I knew what DPI was all about but not polling until I researched it. I've just set both on the middle settings and adjusted the mouse sensitivity in the game, although sometimes this isn't really good enough for exact and quick shot placement, so I need more experimenting. The included Medium Drift mouse pad is very nice, with a satiny texture that works well. I think this is a very good value, at least for a novice like myself. Highly recommended.

Big improvement over wireless
I started playing World of Warcraft again and kept losing my cursor during raids while using my wireless mouse. The Turtle Beach Grip 300 solved that issue and also tracks better than the wireless mouse (which tends to do its own thing at times).I also like that this mouse doesn't have a lot of extra buttons. By default one of the side buttons triggers auto-run in WoW, which is useful, but I think too many buttons would be an unnecessary complication.

This whole series of mice seems defective
As some of the other reviews warned about, it freezes and does not respond for short periods of time every 1-2 minutes. I--unfortunately--didn't pay any heed to those warnings in the reviews, thinking that those individuals just had individual defective mice or something. Well, it turns out that I have exactly the same problem. So, I urge anyone else NOT to buy this mouse. How Turtle Beach can get away with selling an entire series of defective mice that are defective straight out of the factory like this beyond me. You'll want to rip your hair out if you use this mouse for fps or rts games (or really, anything probably). It's too bad because otherwise the mouse has a good feel and weight to it. It's just that... well, it's not really a useful mouse. It IS nice feeling paper weight though, if you're looking for one of those.

Amazing product for the price!
If you are interested in a really great basic gaming mouse I totally recommend this mouse.I know Turtle Beach as a brand is iffy sometimes but for 20$USD this mouse is excellent. The materials do feel a tad bit cheaper then some of the more expensive solutions out there (however with the texture they have on the mouse you will never really notice it) but other then that it has all you could want from a gaming mouse with out all those extra (and in my opinion un-neccesary) bells and whistles.Has some setting switches on the bottom for dpi and polling and a back and forward button and that is it in terms of extras. Also while not having that gaudy "gamer aesthetic" at least not too bad other then the red LEDs.Also I have had no real issues with it, it is very accurate and reliable so far. (I have had it for nearly half a year now.)Plus the cable is long and braided so extra points right there. The only thing I wish this mouse had was a button to let the scroll wheel roll freely and not in the snapping pattern for faster scrolling when I want it.

Really good value for a basic gaming mouse.
For the price, so far, superb. I had a SteelSeries Sensei mouse for years that I greatly enjoyed, but when it started to wear out I didn't really want to drop the $70 on replacing it with the same. I don't do a lot of competitive gaming, I just want a better-than-standard mouse. For less than half the cost, this feels great, has adjustable DPI and polling rate, a nice clicky mousewheel, and a sturdy braided cord. Very pleased
