Basaho Zabuton Meditation Mat | Organic Cotton | Recycled Fibre Filling

Bought this as the last one i had got very lumpy, this at first was excellent no lumps, fairly thin but just right for me.However after washing (followed the labels instructions) its shrunk by a fair amount now the pillow can sit flat inside its cover. Very disappointed as i thought i had finally found a decent brand.I have attached the replacement covers sent to me from the seller but they all shrunk. in the photo the blue was washed at 30degC, the grey was washed at 20degC and the blue is the baseline unwashed one showing the shrinkage level (This also shrunk on a hand wash setting cold)Its clearly a design issue in which they either dont allow enough material for the shrinkage or the manufacuting process to cost save doesnt pre shrink the material.As mentioned i was initally really happy with the product but this is a killer for me as i need it to be washable as advertised.Update: after a bit of communication with the seller we were unable to find a solution for the cover issue apart from modifications to the internal cushion to allow it to fit the shrunked covers. They have offered me a refund for the trouble so im adding back 2 stars, as the customer service / good will is there, its just a shame they havent found a robust solution for this issue as i was initally really impressed with the product.

The mat was a bit too hard for my comfort, no sponginess in it, so I've gone back to using a small black rug on top of a 15mm sponge yoga mat which is more comfortable for my joints.

I spent a long time considering this mat before purchasing it, as it seemed a bit of a luxury. That was a mistake: I should have bought one immediately.The mat is quite thick, and placed on a wooden floor gives very comfortable knees and ankles (I use a Burmese posture, not able to do a lotus, and sit for an hour or more). The cotton cover is a pleasant texture, and I like the colour (green in my case).The mat stays in place all the time; it is reasonably light to move around, but a bit thick to roll up and store: best for a fixed location.Lastly, it is just the right size: I fit comfortably on it with just enough extra space around me that there is a good feeling of being looked after.Definitely makes my meditation more pleasant.

This mat is great, so nice and thick. It will definitely cushion your knees and ankles. But, Amazon omg the packaging and box it came in was off the scale. I could fit a small car in it! Seriously, sort this out. You need to adjust your computer settings or get a better range of boxes!The mat is amazing though.

Words cannot explain the World of difference this zabuton has for my daily practice - amazing and just right regarding thickness, comfortable material and beautiful, all in one great package.Its huuugeee for little me but all the more Space to really sit comfortable and focus on The more important stuff during the practice than "ouch damn my knees Hurt so bad against the floor" (and I have an injured knee too!)On this I feel like I could sit for years and years no kidding its so comfortable you don t want to leave once the bell rings!Do yourself a favor for your daily sitting - get this one and experience bliss

I already have a meditation pillow. This just makes my practice that much more special. Besides the obvious added comfort it also delineates a practice area. Also folds nicely in half for storage. Namaste!

This is a wonderful mat to use for meditation. It provides a solid and even base to sit, kneel or place an additional meditation cushion.
