Wade Fishing +
Solid wade fishing boot - a bit more tactical than the typical wade boot. Use it around oyster beds and rays and feel confident in the ability of the workboot to keep me safe.

Outstanding product... Perfect marriage of neoprene dive booties and hightop work boots.
I bought these boots in order to protect my feet from razor sharp oyster shells encountered while exploring tidal mudflats. If anyone here's ever ventured into such locations, than surely you know just how sharp and dangerous oyster shells can be as opposed to your feet. Until I found these I generally used lace up hightop work boots, as rubber muckers can be pulled right off your feet by the suction created by the mud. These are a perfect marriage between wetsuit diving booties and hightop work boots. They're more than tough enough to easily handle any oyster shells yet are plenty comfortable enough to wear all day. They've got a fin stop above the heal too, so they're at home when used for scuba diving as well. The only negative I can think of is that they can be a real bear getting on and off your feet. But if you venture into any tidal mudflats, that negative turns into a MAJOR positive, as these simply won't ever get pulled off your feet by anthing other than your own removing them. You'll find that any suction strong enough to pull these off will leave you trapped long before that happens. The inner liner is 5 mm neoprene without a zipper which alone makes them far more secure. The outer shell is neoprene and a simulated leather that's really tough and resistant to anything sharp getting through. The shell laces up and has a velcro strap that covers the laces so they don't become untied. Additionally they've got a 7mm neoprene layer that the inner layer sits on, giving you a total of 12 mm of neoprene insulation and padding under your feet. Needless to say, they feel plenty soft under foot. I first tested these over a large rubble pile of oyster shells and didn't even get a scratch on them. I could barely even discern any oyster shells edges at all, let alone feel anything that was remotely sharp. They have nothing on them that can be corroded from salt water, which was always a problem when wearing regular work boots. Those would only last a year at most. These should hold up year after year. And being that they're made from neoprene, they'll hold in the heat exceptionally well, regardless whether your feet are wet or dry. Should something happen to them, I will definitely buy another pair.

PERFECT boots!
PERFECT! Use this in streams/rivers where there is glass and rough terrain to navigate while fossil hunting - great support great quality and awesome fit - very true to comments on them running a bit tight - I wanted a tight fit and ordered a 9 when I usually get a 8.5-9 in water shoes and a 9 in reg shoes and they fit great. I have thin feet and high arches and they offer good support. They are really narrow fitting so cation to those with wide feet. they are REALLY hard the first few times to get on and off until you figure it out, the neoprene slieve is nice and snug and it does a fantastic job of keeping out sand/gravel debris etc - but that adds a little effort to getting it on and off - suggest doing this when they are wet and loosing laces completely. I will also be using these when I go SCUBA diving off NC coast and report back on how they work with fins etc.

Won't come off accidentally for sure. Hard to get off: Unless...
So far a snug fit. Should perform very well as a wading shoe on the sharp oyster bars and mud flats. Definitely get one size larger. I wear a regular size 9. This shoe in size 10 is snug as it should be. No metal to rust in saltwater. Update May 2020: Problem for me: Even with a size larger they are very difficult to get off after being wet. I finally cut out the neoprene inner part and now wear some thin neoprene diving socks. Keeps out the sand and they slide right out of the shoe. I did this because these are excellent shoes for walking on rocks and oysters.

Excellent workbook, just one flaw...
I bought these over a year ago, and they just now fell apart after DAILY use in marine construction and commercial diving. These are amazing boots that are by far the most durable dive boots I've ever owned. The only reason I give these 4 stars is because the rubber outsole and neoprene inner are separate and this causes debris/sand/muck to build up in the toe area, especially when jetting and that caused my toes to bunch up akin to ancient Chinese foot binding traditions. Other than the toe, these are the best boots for anyone who works in the water as a diver or dock builder.

Great water work boot
Got this boot for swift water training and it preformed will no fail. Boot fit great and had very good grip on land and in the river. It kept my feed super warm even in mid 50s degree water while in it for hours. Money well spent!!
