Far Superior to Clay litter
LOVE PINE LITTER! For this litter you need to switch to a litter box that has a sifting pan insert. When your cat urinates on the pellets they turn to saw dust and fall through the sifter to the lower basin. My cat enjoys his privacy so we simply put the insert into his covered litter box. It took my cat a few tries to get used to the pellets but have been using it for over a year now and would never consider going back to clay litter. This litter is such an improvement from clay litter as it does not track at all through my house. It is easy to clean, you simply scoop out poops and use scoop to push saw dust through holes and level out the pellets when needed. For a more major clean, I simply shake the whole box back and forth so the sawdust falls through the holes, remove the insert and then dump the dust from the basin out. I like that this product is more environmentally friendly and I don't worry about my cat ingesting any of it. It is easier to clean the litter box itself as well. I tell all my friends with cats to make the switch. Thank you for making this product!

I only gave this 1 star because it was the lowest possible rating
There are no words to describe how horrible this product is and I don’t usually do reviews but if I can save anyone this nightmare I feel like I should. I originally ordered the purina tidy cats litter box with the breeze starter kit, that had the pads and a small starter bag of litter with it that worked very well , but I ordered this product to try cut corners and save a little, but it was a nightmare. My cat would use it once and it just turned to sawdust and made the most horrible mess to clean up , definitely did not save any money because I had to throw it out a couple of times a day, it had to be changed and cleaned every time they would use it.

High Hopes (Update)
I appreciate that the pine pellets arrived 4 days early 🙏. This kitten is stubborn. The old litter took forever to clump. She gets gassy and I know it's time. I place her in the box and she has the audacity to tell me no; and run away. Together, we get it done. I got her a new box and these pine pellets. She doesn't appear impressed. Can't wait to learn the outcome. Fingers crossed!Okay; this will be more relatable if you're familiar with Curly/The Three Stooges. She goes crazy in this litter. I made it deep with the pellets and she digs so furiously, one would think that she's searching for gold. No fault of the product, but she flings it around like it's a sales table at your favorite dress shop. I have to keep a broom nearby now. I'm glad she likes it.

Good alternative to breeze but messy
i like the value you get from this. one box equaled around 8 litter box refills for a typical breeze pellet system. the pellets smell like the homedepot lumber aisle which is nice but the scent can be easily overcome by the waste and urine. the pellets disintegrate with liquid so over time it goes to basically just sawdust. it’s annoying to have to sweep it up almost daily, but i found that it’s much more sanitary than the pellets. sometimes with the pellets the stool can smear across and the pellets don’t do anything to absorb or conceal it. the pellets do that much better.i found that even still putting the pads underneath with the saw dust falling in, it still helped to absorb urine. but the cleanup and cleaning out of the boxes for fresh pellets is arduous. overall, i recommend them if you’re not trying to spend the money for the breeze pellets but if you want low maintenance litter, this won’t cut it

Not comparable with auto litter boxes
Pellets to large to work in auto cleaning litter box. Cats didn't seem to like them

Awesome alternative to dusty litter!
This is an awesome alternative from ur dusty clumpy litter. I love this because I don't have to even touch the product or nasty cat litter! I just put a thin layer on the bottom of the kitty pan and dump it all out weekly and then put back in a thin layer. Most of the bad reviews is because they don't know how to use it. IT IS NOTHING LIKE GRAVEL LITTER. this stuff is sapost to crumble down. Ur sapost to empty it completely. No smell because u arnt reusing old litter. With the clumping gravel litter, as it may seem like a clean effective way. It's not lol, when u shift through the litter and find ur clump of pee n u shake it to get the "good" litter off, ur actually leaving some pee behind. Which eventually stinks. With this litterFill about a half an inch, let ur cat do their thang, dump it out in about week (or a couple days depending on how many cats u have)Then fill about an inchRepeatI love it as there is NO dust in the air so it's not stuffy at all!Whoever invented pellet litter THANK YOU

Really not great/not worth it
I got these pellets to try as an alternative to the Breeze pellets bc they are expensive. This seemed ok at first - but they are really messy and inconvenient. I use this pellet system bc it’s the best and so much better than regular litter, and the Breeze pellets were getting expensive. So I decided to try these. However these are messy, and it’s almost worse than regular litter. The pee breaks down the pellets and it makes a sandy mess. Not to mention it gets everywhere just like regular litter. One litter box full is supposed to last a month I think, and doesn’t even last a week. The Breeze pellets last a month (for one cat) and I haven’t calculated it, but this now probably costed me way more bc it didn’t last close to as long as it was supposed to, and left a huge mess. Back to Breeze pellets it is and not looking back. I just will need to try to find the least expensive place to purchase them. Even if I have to pay more for them I will bc they are clean, easy to change, and last a long time.
