Q: Has anyone tested this unit with a Red Cross line laser?

Does not work with just a level laser line. Needs to be rotating. Works for like a 2 foot range then doesn't detect it. I was pretty pissed.

Q: will this work with 3d series laser level?

That is what I bought it for but it does not work as well as I expected. I got it for sunny days and it does not work well when it is bright out.

I would think so. Picked up my DeWalt with no problem
