I purchased this for river float trip I do each year. It came in a massive box because it doesn't roll up, it had to be shipped flat. It has a "styrofoam" type feel to it but it does bend some in the water. It keeps me upright and floating.

The type of saddle I was looking for was covered in plastic (easily cleaned). We had some of those but they had gotten lost over the years. But these are a good alternative. They are basically super thick pool noodles that you can sit on. I do not know how durable these will be considering that they are pool-noodle material but they will last for a few seasons I suppose. They do work and the leg openings are large, comfortable and great for adults. Children should not use these as they do require a certain amount of weight to use.

I was looking for something smaller than tubes to take on the boat and these are perfect. I bought 2 and they fit behind the seats, so take up almost no space and they are perfect to sit in the water. Balance took a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it these are like chairs in the water. You can even cycle your legs and breast stroke with your arms and move pretty well.

Purchased 2 to float in above ground pool. I'm 6'4" and weigh 270, and our pool is 52" deep. My wife and son think it works well and will continue to use them for floating around the pool. But for me my feet drag on the bottom and no floating occurs. I might have better luck in a lake off a boat or in a in ground pool with a deep end.
