It's a tight fit
It's a great product if you understand, like I did, that it will require some fitting going in. The dovetail that slides in to the grove on the gun's slide needed to be 'adjusted' a bit to fit. That means some filing and or sanding. If your cool with this, you set, if not, take it to a gun smith.

Great product
Surprised with the quality, very robust and nice fitment with pistol and holosun optic. Threads had paint in them but after one pass with screw all was good. Great product at price point.

too tight
it was way too tight for my gun, had to hammer it in and caused a lot of marks on the slide

Tight fit
The part did fit and support my tru glo for my M&P 2.0. The only issue was it was a very tight fit. I had to hammer with a brass punch to get it on. I did cause some damage on the edges of the mount. I used a file and some paint to doctor it up. I haven’t been to the range yet. It seems like it will work just fine.

One piece steel is the way to go
Dovetail Fit was perfect on the Glock 26. I did have to lightly drift the plate into place using a steel punch and small piece of electrical tape to protect the finish. The plate seems to be made of high grade steel with robust plating so no worries for me to drift the plate into place. Now for those who have no intention of returning the plate, the extra holes both on the dovetail and behind can be tapped for 6-32 x 1/4 screws for added hold down of the dovetail, which should be fully tightened. The two fore and aft screws that come with the plate are for anti-vibration stability only and should only be brought into snug contact with the slide, without tightening. I also tapped two extra holes in the front, keeping away from the radius of the Glock slide, for added anti-vibration stability. There are a few high speed videos on the net showing that all dovetail plates, steel or otherwise, benefit from having stabilization screws. The TRUGLO steel plate is the only plate I know of that comes pre-tapped for one screw each fore and aft, which really is sufficient.

Not a perfect fit for the SD40
This was the most difficult install I’ve ever done. I tried tirelessly for over an hour to get this thing on and ended up having to shave some of the dove tail to fit. Finally, I got it to seat correctly. Do yourself a favor and get your slide milled if you’re going for a red dot.

Holds Zero
Qualifacation: I needed a reddot mount for my CZ P10C without cutting into the factory slide. I have not found it best to remove that coating for any reason. So I found this work around.I was gifted a reddot from a friend and never looked back.My testing has included your standard torture tests with racking the slide off of tables, truck tail gates, shooting frames, and my leg. My leg faired the worst because I hit it with a glance. It maintained zero to this day.Tip: This raises your height over bore significantly and you'll need to adjust your dry fire to accomodate that.

Perfect fit on my CZ P10c
I have had this for a few months now and around 12 trips to the range with it . It went on EZ , nice snug fit and it has never came loose even after 1000 rounds I also have a tru glow site attached to it that is perfect and holes zero great, just as good as my vortex in my opinion
