Disappointing book
When I opened the book in Kindle reader I was surprised. 12% done and I was only at the end of the content list? This book has got little text. The author does not come forward to you as your mentor. There is no fascination or joy. There is no motivation but only a short covering of various topics. The book also gives me the feeling that I have to get to the computer and try to see for myself because the text and illustrations combined does not give me a clear impression of how this will work out.

Patrick Rauland is an authority on WooCommerce
Patrick's teaching style is digestible, imaginative and actionable. In an economy where all commerce is now e-commerce, learning the top platform WooCommerce is invaluable and this book is an excellent tool to do so.

It's OK, but you'll still have to Google a lot to do basic troubleshooting
It's a well written and friendly book, but I found that some of the really basic stuff, like the best way to import images via Product Import just wasn't covered in the book. It's so easy to do, I discover after a lot of pain. So why couldn't the book cover this? Similarly, it's a known issue that there's difficulties getting Woocommerce to actually send e-mails to customers acknowledging orders. Again, it's so easy, but I only discovered this after much pain, so why are things like this not in the book?

NICE BOOK
I really needed a book to cover all the essentials in getting started. Patrick really covered it well. I was able to take notes of what was relevant for my site.My only suggestion is that he could have added more insider tips on recommended plugins to use.
