This pocket watch is a beautiful pocket watch. No shame in hiding the fact I had one, I like to show it off to my friends and coworkers and they like it as much as I do. While requiring work to keep it rewinded, its actually pretty fun because you get to see the moving parts and the Asian motif is a pretty nice design choice. I haven't ran into any problems and rewinding does need to be done almost every 3-4 days but that's just something you get for buying a winding stop watch. If you don't like rewinding watches once in awhile, you'll need to look for a battery stop watch. Otherwise, this one is a great addition to your collection.

The design and style was quite nice. It looked better after receiving then the pictures shown when ordering. It has functioned very well, and is easy to adjust the time and wind. The only problem I have with it, is it has a plastic cover over the watch face and not glass. Maybe I did not read the product information properly so this was somewhat disappointing and I would have preferred glass. However, given the price and the over all nice look it is a very nice product.

Of all the pocket watches in my collection, this is definitely one of my favorites. It comes with a chain for your pockets and no battery. It is mechanical so all you have to do once you purchase it is rotate the little knob on top (I do it 15 times in a full circle) and all the gears will start to come alive. Be careful not to over wind your watch since that may damage it. I love that you can see it work from both the back and the front. So satisfying to watch the little gears spin and make a ticking sound.

I bought this as a Christmas gift. Therefore not yet presented. It looks good, but I cannot know how it will be or how received.

I bought this as a 14th birthday gift for my son in May. There were some pretty bad reviews, but this is a $17.00 watch. Because of his love of dragons and my affinity to the Phoenix, I thought this was a perfect Mother/Son gift. My son isn't the most responsible kid in the world, but we haven't had any problems with it. I told him not to over-wind it, and he mostly keeps it on his stand in the box it came in. The detail is beautiful, and everyone he's shown it to has been very impressed with it.

Have not owned very long, but my son loves it as a gift. Very good value as long as it keeps working well. It is a classic style device with a manual wind movement - necessary to keep it wound up. As long as you do this it keeps accurate time. It is really cool how all the gears and movement are visible and it has a really nice heft to it. The metal work is also well done. For the price, quite impressive!

It's fine for a costume fashion statement. Or some kinky dress-up. Works Ok. It's kind of like the old $1.50 watches I bought as a kid. Cheap enough to carry around and bang up. The time is a little difficult to see with very thin and tiny minute and hour hands.

Pretty much as advertised. It keeps time fairly well (maybe a minute or two off over a week), the metal casing feels decent. The only thing I don't like about it is the super cheap plastic facing over the inner workings (front and back). It feels unfortunately flimsy and will certainly scratch easily. Otherwise, quite satisfied.
