Look good and looks good with all my wife’s Spode Christmas items but they are now made in China and not England which I only realized after I recieved them.

I own 14 place settings of this Spode Christmas Tree Gold china. Every time I use it, my family comments on how beautiful it is. I love serving special holiday meals on them, creating memorable Christmas traditions with my family, and even added some coordinating Christmas Tree Gold bread and butter plates to the formal place settings for our obligatory bread feast at Christmas. While these are expensive, they are certainly heirloom quality. The tiny detail on the christmas tree pattern is almost whimsical if you look closely, but it's extremely classic and timeless. If you buy this, do invest in some nice china storage cases (padded) to protect your investment for the next generation you hand these down to.Note: since there is gold on the rims of these dishes and cups, you probably don't want to put them through a dishwasher, even on the china setting.

'These chargers are pretty, and look nice with my Spode dinnerware, but I find them expensive for something I will use once a year. I paid approximately $24/charger which was the best price I found. I would’ve liked to bought 6, but ... The gold looks more copper than gold. These will need to be hand washed to preserve the gold. The Christmas tree in the center is nice, and the cream color china gives it a nice vintage look. The size is perfect for a charger and can be used as a small serving plate.

First purchased this on a great sale from Amazon. It arrived with the spout broken off. Sad I couldn’t return and get a replacement at the same great price. I returned it and waited. Another sale finally came, not as good, but decent. Over the years I had purchased the Christmas mugs. Now I have the pretty Tea Pot which will be used to hold hot chocolate for the Grands who come for Hot Chocolate and donuts during the holidays with Gramps. It is a traditions so we can catch up with each of them around a fun Christmas table.

This bowl is a birthday gift for my daughter-in-law. The price is right & it arrived to her undamaged. She says it is beautiful!

This particular brand is outstanding as a gift, very beautiful on a table under lights at holidays, I can testify....and to me, if your gonna give a gift, then give a gift.

I bought this teapot and also the matching cream and sugar set as a birthday gift for my wife. When she opened it she found that much of the gold leaf trim on the top was rubbed off, like it had been scrubbed hard. It looked like it had been purchased in a second hand shop and previously used.... for years. The cream and sugar weren't as bad and she thought she could keep those. We did however return the teapot easily, but when the new one arrived, it was not much better than the first. She kept it because she really wanted it, but I must say considering the price, and the fact that Spode is supposed to be reputable name in China, this teapot was a terrible disappointment. Honestly, I'd say don't bother to buy it. It's not well made with very shoddy workmanship. Spode's quality is not what is was.

I think this is a beautiful set however I would prefer it in one piece. Disappointed at the lack of packaging for such a fragile item. Just not impressed.
