Just what I needed for my kitchen!
I ordered this product just to see if it would work in my kitchen, so nice just having the garbage can right there when I’m cooking, I have a small kitchen, so I have to use my space very wisely. The trashcan is perfect!

Quirky but cool - it worlks every day in my kitchern and I love it
Customer service is very responsive too which I discovered soon after installing - i slammed right thru the dual plastic hooks which allow mounting on the back of a cabinet door. (The great CSR "Rainbow" followed through and sent me new hooks as soon as I requested them.) Other than tossing in trash, I don't recommend doing anything else while the can hangs from the cabinet door mount hooks. It's most jiggy in that position. Bottom line is, for collecting random scraps and bits of trash created durring food prep and cooking, nothing beats this can hanging on a drawer front right beneath your prep surface. Size is small but fits a grocery store plastic bag held in place by the two-way lid that also features a snap-in-place sealing ring. The whole assembly feels a bit shaky when positioned hanging on the back of my cabinet door below the kitchen sink, But worry not. Solution is to unhook the can and set it in the sink or on your countertop when you unseal to remove trash and change bags. Its can sit stably on a flat surface - you can even give the lid a light thump in each corner to reseal it and you're then good to go again. I use one grocery store bag per day and never feel wasteful if I remove and toss before it's full. The looking lid is effective at keeping reasonable odors at bay and the washable surfaces makes regular cleaning (a must) a breeze. Beats the old "Rack Sack" system hands down.

Excellent value! Check all dimensions first.
Very satisfied. Well-made and quite sturdy. Good if you generally recycle and remove trash every 1-3 days. This will not hold copious quantities of daily refuse or any large items. It is meant for kitchen sink work (scraps, trimmings, paper towels, coffee filters, etc.)Lid frame will hold a plastic liner or typical grocery bag. Scraper is convenient to use but accessible only when lid is opened to the front.Fits over cabinet door that has a 3/8” difference between top of door and bottom edge of inside cabinet frame. This “just clears” the closed lid. If this dimension of the cabinet was more than 3/8”, the trash bin lid would need to be kept open or even removed. If you hang this on the exterior of the cabinet door, or use the permanent adhesive hanger, then clearance is not an issue. Can easily be moved to hang over a drawer for countertop work and clean-up.Your cabinet/drawer design may vary.

Great as a compost bin!
The media could not be loaded. I gave this trash bin a try to use as a compost bin to place under my kitchen sink cabinet. The bin is sturdier that it appears in the photos and works wonderfully with two lid options. One option is great to use during the time I'm chopping up vegetables as the lid remains open. The other option allows for the lid to open a quarter of the way as you'll see in the video. For months there, I struggled using different plastic tubs for my compost bin and now it's easier than ever. I also use a compostable bin liner to keep the trash bin spotless, and it makes it much easier to take the bag out out to my garden compost bin each week. There's no smell that lingers with this bin under the sink, thankfully. Having a trash bin to conceal under my sink also gave me more counter space in my small kitchen.

Excellent design for kitchen food disposal...
Excellent design for kitchen food disposal... Can use a few design tweaks however!1. The hinged lid really needs to be better secured to the sides of the bin.2. there are too many nooks and crannies in the lid, that make cleaning difficult. And the corners at the bottom of the bin have useless protrusions that make it hard to clean... Unfortunately, both would really need to visit a dishwasher weekly... Otherwise, a really great addition to my kitchen. The bin takes either a plastic grocery bag, or even a plastic veggie bag (not the kind with a straight across seam, however... they are too narrow!) I also recommend placing a paper towel in the bottom to soak up any leaks... Highly recommended...

Very handy!
This is my new favorite thing in the kitchen. I just hang it on the drawer and slide the trimmings into the can and I can use the flat edge that is hidden in the lid. If I'm on the frontside I open the lid from front and just so handy! Cooking I can just drop eggs shells right in without missing a beat! It's the small things in life that makes me happy! ;-)I can move it to wherever I need. I just use the hook it comes on.Caution if you don't firmly push the lid onto the can it is a little unstable. That was my only issue but that was my doing.I will be buying more. I'm going to put one in my bathroom and get the trashcan off the floor.Recommend!!! Very satisfied!
