Just Ok
I wasnโt expecting much from these $25 fins. They fit well, light and good for traveling with. They do the trick for an occasional & recreational dip in the ocean or lake. Donโt expect to go scuba diving with these. As many mentioned, the straps do come loose as you swim. One strap would completely slip out of the buckle if I tightened the other side too tight. It didnโt really bother me all to much.

Great finns!
I bought these along with another pair from a different company before a trip to the Bahamas this spring. I had some reservations about them because there were enough somewhat negative comments about fit and keeping them from unfastening. I was prepared for anything when i tried them out. They were so much easier to put on and take off then the type finn that slips on like a shoe. We were on a boat and I had to be able to slip out of them easily while hanging onto the swim ladder. Reason for 4 stars (I actually would have said 4.5 stars) only because they were hard to adjust initially but I didn't have the problem a lot of people did with them coming open. They were great for snorkeling and just swimming around the boat. They didn't slow me down and didn't hurt my knees which longer ones do. I really love them and would recommend them to other people

Good fins, straps are garbage, careful on shoe size
The first thing is the size. (Men's size 11-13)If you are a male with a size 13 foot, look elsewhere, these will not fit unless you have very narrow feet. I am size 12 and they only fit when zip ties secure the straps (mentioned in other reviews here). The material is soft and flexible so the pinch is there but I'm able to swim for an hour with these on. Take this with a grain of salt. If you're an 11, you'll probably be fine, but a 12 or 13 you will be better off looking elsewhere. The StrapsThe straps are garbage. They slide when you put pressure on the strap and they are not long enough to accommodate a size 11.5 or larger foot realistically. The buckle will slide and it will unclip itself. Zip ties can keep it in place and so far have held up decently but you can't change the size. The FinsThe fins themselves are actually nice. Material is flexible and conforms well when its not pinching. It has rather good response on kick and they feel quality.ConclusionThe buckles can be taken off and replaced with aftermarket buckles/straps that are much better. I've had US Divers masks/scuba equipments before and they were awesome. These aren't really representative of that experience. If you put another $15-20 into some aftermarket straps and your feet aren't too large, they are really good, but there's other options out there.

Great fins, just not for my foot.
Liked them a lot, but had a few problems. One, they are fairly heavy. While I like that for durability, not so great for a travel fin, but could have lived with it. Loved the short size and easy strap adjustment for getting in and out. However, one clip was not holding good and kept falling out, so would have returned for that reason. Biggest problem for me was my foot is a bit wide and my big toe hit on the side of the toenail and made it uncomfortable. For those reasons I didn't keep them and returned to Amazon. I really liked them,. I wished they had worked for me. It's a real nicely made product.

Perfect for snorkeling
We snorkel in the caribbean for two weeks once a year and leave our equipment there. We needed to purchase a another pair for a trip and were afraid we would not get the same great quality as the ones we had. These are really well made. The shortness of them are easier on the knees if you kick the traditional way. If you kick both feet like a dolphin then longer would be better. They are really soft. We do not need to where socks. The straps stay buckled and are easy to loosen or tighten in the water. A really great buy!

Nice, portable solution but YMMV
I wear a size 10 to 10-1/2 and since I have a pair of neoprene dive booties I ordered the largest size. The fins have a nice style and they definitely deliver in the portability department. I can drop them and a full-face mask with integrated snorkel into the carrier bag and everything will fit nicely in a backpack with room to spare, something I can't do with my full-size dive fins. Now for the bad: These things are way too tight. I don't know how much of your foot and ankle are supposed to stick out but with my Akona dive booties on I could barely get my feet into the pockets. The straps were at the loosest setting and were still stretched so much that the fins would not stay on in the water. The plastic buckles as currently designed simply do not lock into place securely enough and sufficient tension on the heavy rubber strap will pull the buckle right back out of its socket. I took the dive booties off but even then it's a tight fit and not very comfortable on a bare foot. I may have to mod these by slitting the top and adding wrapper bands for support and adjustment as one fellow did. At any rate, they are pretty sturdy little fins and at this price point you can easily afford to pull the trigger and try them out.

Great fins. I have a set of US Divers' ...
Great fins. I have a set of US Divers' long fins that I have had for about ten years. I use them for snorkeling and wanted to try shorter fins. I was happy with the quality of their products before and it seems that their quality has actually improved. These fins fit great, skip on and off easily, yet the adjustable straps keep the fins snug to your feet.In comparing short fins to long fins: going from long to short fins is a challenge; my foot was hurting after a little while, but that's no reflection on the fins, it's just my feet adjusting to the new style; it does take a little more energy to move long distances, but maneuverability and bursting speed have improved greatly as compared to long fins.

They are light weight
I like them they are light for packing in suitcase, they go on easy, haven't used them yet as they came after I left for my trip. They will be perfect for my needs when it comes to snorkling

Strap system sucks, but with mods can be amazing
As some of the other reviews stated, the tension strap system is terrible. The clips needed modifying to stay clipped and I had to add tie wraps to the straps so they would keep tension. After making these changes the fins are amazing. Just be warned, they suck out of the box.

Too heavy for extended travel
They seemed like a good idea for a round the world backpack trip...however...they are WAY too heavy! Tried to return but it would cost WAY too much. They were left at home.

Straps do not stay tight
Fit fine until they got wet then the straps wouldn't stay tight and they kept falling off. Would not recommend for purchase.
