I wanted to discontinue over the counter sleep aids such as melatonin due to clinical studies showing a possible link to dementia with continued usage. Additional studies by natural and organic pharmacies suggesting Valerian as a safe and effective alternative for relaxation was something that caught my eye.I have since used this product for 2 weeks and found it to be exactly what they state. I put about 1/3 dropper under my tongue at night and wait a few seconds before swallowing.Not only does it have a nice flowery taste, there is no burn or lingering after taste.Now, I sleep through the night - even after using the bathroom I can drop off quickly and I stay asleep.I feel confident in this product and will continue usage. I really like this product. It works. I struggle with sleep and anxiety and it helps. My ONLY comment is that the glass dropper arrived broken. I have pipettes, so it was ok. The company may need to wrap it in bubble wrap.

I put this in a diffuser at night and sleep like a baby!

I have been using this product for effective sleep aid. I was running low and re-ordered more! I was disappointed to open the new container and see how diluted down it appeared. I thought maybe once air gets to it maybe it darkens… however even the flavor was significantly less….Anyone else experience this?I might return this and need to seek another company.12/20/21

I really like valerian root I used to see I got kind of lazy and I now use it in my Keurig type machine it does calm the nerves I think it could be a bit stronger but I haven't found that yet like in the old days it useful I remember to knock people out so I guess they water the down so I just use a little extra a lot extra it lasts a long time and I use it in the Valyrian tea with l thiamine all good for the nervous system and I guess it helps for sleep since I am a night person I don't really know but in the past I think it has helped anyway it's a good product and I recommend it definitely it's not too expensive so it's good quality and it's good if you have anxiety issues or whatever it is really balances out those things I definitely will be buying it regularly

oh my goodness! the directions here as listed are just dangerously wrong. The directions on the bottle are different. I weigh 335#. Keep that in mind. I'v had Valerian for years, off and on. I was hoping to use this product to help w/ sleep, pain, and general insomnia. I have fibromyalia and the pain can get quite unbareable. IT DID NOTHING TO HELP ANY OF THOSE PROBLEMS Instead. I have had to take a couple of charcoal to hopefully absorb the drug/herb before I end up in the hospital. I'v never had such a bad reaction to a drug except when I tried fentanyl. I can't stand by myself and even when laying down my eyes won't hold still, my head is 'twirling and twirling'. Do NOT take the dosage listed above . I didn't. I took less.. but I did not count drops.. The dropper didn't ever get 'full'... I took 2 'droppers' of this Valerian and got this horrible reaction. When I take the pill form, I end up w/ alot of acid, so I was hoping that in this liquid form I would not. Well, at least, ha, I don't have acid. Nausea, but no acid. Read the bottle. 1/2 dropper is about 30 drops... count them.

Works like a charm and the taste is not bad if mixed with juice. Almost flowery. I also take it during the daytime at half dose when I'm feeling very stressed and anxious. I'm on my second bottle now.
