Worth every penny !
I picked up the Bhagavad Gita thinking I’d read a few verses here and there—but I didn’t expect it to speak to me the way it has. It’s one of those rare books that meets you exactly where you are. Whether you’re feeling confused, overwhelmed, restless—or even okay but searching for something deeper—it has a way of gently holding space for all of it.The language is poetic, but the wisdom is so real. It talks about life, doubt, fear, purpose… in a way that doesn’t feel preachy. Just honest. Kind. Clear. Some verses have stopped me in my tracks. Others have quietly stayed with me long after I closed the book. And the beauty is—every time I go back to it, I see something new. As if the Gita grows with you. It’s not a fast read. It’s a slow companion. One that doesn’t give you all the answers—but helps you ask better questions.Whether you’re spiritual or just curious about ancient wisdom, I honestly think there’s something in it for everyone.

Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is a must read
Om Namoh Bhagvate VasudevayahShrimad Bhagavad Gita is so much much more than a book that writing a review for it, seems a monumental task. By the grace of Shri Hari, let me make an attempt. My Mother had asked me to read The Gita quite a few times and then earlier this year a good friend also asked if I had read it, and post that I decided by God's grace, to read Shrimad Bhagavat Gita. Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, as we know it, is a dialog that happens between Shri Arjuna and Bhagwaan Shri Krishna on the Kurukshetra battlefield during the DharmaYuddha between Pandavas and Kauravas, when Shri Arjuna was unsure of what the right path for him is. But the dialog is not just to quell the doubts of Shri Arjuna. It is a treasure trove of knowledge which as The God mentioned has been narrated several times in the past and through the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is now accessible for all of us.This treasure trove of knowledge one can turn to, to understand the deeper questions of life. Without recommending it provides clarity on ways to live one's life. It provides insights into the three modes in which a human being can live - Sattvic (mode of goodness), Rajas (mode of passion) and Tamas (mode of ignorance) - and what the attributes of those living in the three modes are. It clearly elucidates the path of duty without attachment to results, and how being free of what the outcome could be but doing a duty because it is the right thing to do is the way one must follow in life. It speaks about the three biggest human vices - anger, lust and greed. It talks about the difference between renunciation and the way wherein one does everything but remains detached. Bhagwaan Shri Krishna mentions that one should remain undisturbed during trying times, not crave for pleasure and be free from fear, anger and attachment. The Gita also speaks about the journey of soul and how the ultimate aim for the soul is to be at one with the God. In The Gita, Bhagwaan Shri Krishna also explains that reading The Gita is akin to offering Prayers to Shri Hari.Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is a book on courage, peace, righteousness, steadfastness, contentment, devotion, truthfulness, decision-making and life overall. This is the book, which one should read again and again irrespective of the life stage one is in. I have heard that Shrimad Bhagavad Gita speaks to you differently everytime you read it. I do not know that but I do know that, by his grace I have read it once and it definitely is a book to read again and again. By the grace of Shri Hari, I will definitely suggest that with faith in the Supreme, everyone should should read The Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.Om Namoh Bhagvate Vasudevayah

Definitely necessary in every home 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Vibrant red with golden letters - catches anyone's attention. (pic 1)I wanted to buy Gita for a long time but all books were quite big and heavy. Most of them had definitions and explanations according to the publishing houses and the authors who defined them.I wanted a perception free book. I want to read and perceive my own thought process.Simple and easy to understand, print is large enough with ample space between paragraphs. The verses are printed in Sanskrit - English then translation in English. (pic -3)After a while one can understand and read with ease.Easy to hold and read, not a very heavy book, can take with you as its only 6 inches in length. (pic 2)Recommended for all ages.

Good quality
It contains short translations of verses. The cover of book is so classy but after a time period its golden print starts to fade. Print is very clear, paper quality is also good, at this price its an excellent product.
