One satisfied daughter come Christmas day
Managed to buy this while it's on offer.Overall it looks great and I can safely say my 8 year old daughter is going to be more than over the moon when she opens this on Christmas day.

Waste of time.
This is a total waste of time and effort. My child played once and done. Nothing to do, the boxes are easy to find the key in. The ‘maggots’ aren’t even noticeable when they fall, so no surprise when time runs out. Been on the shelf since day 1. Pointless item.

Not a good product
The game was cheap and wasn’t fun for my 6 year old nephew who said is that it and bits went in bin.Only played with for 5 minutes once and then ended up in the bin.

Fun for everyone. Not messy
This is so much fun and not messy. Our other Collins Key toy (food challenge) is disgusting and messy and has to be supervised. Nothing in this is sticky or messy. It’s a simple concept but lots of fun and can be played over and over again. My young kids can’t get it done in the time allotted, but you set your own time, so we just give them extra time. I would definitely purchase this again. Our whole family played it.

OK so far
I wasn't sure about the game and if it can be played more than once. It can at least to some extent. In the game, one player sets it up, and the other is supposed to find the key hidden in one of the boxes. In 30 seconds, they need to find it and open secret compartment inside the box. If they do not, the first player pulls on the string and a shower of worms falls down on the player 2 to gross them out. They do not include a timer with the game, you will have to use your own, or your phone for that. The worms are not that gross, thankfully, they only look like worms, they are made of soft plastic. The boxes are to be filled with stuff to make it harder to find the key. There are elbow macaroni, (rubbery and fun), snakes, and one of the boxes will have little tiny cubes, which are not that exciting because there is only a few of them and they are too tiny and they do not provide enough distraction on their own - it is pretty clear if there is key in there or not. To confuse things more, there are two little figures and a few plastic pieces included so you cannot tell if the key is inside just from shaking the box.Anyway, my son played the game several times - as player one and player two, and he seems to enjoy the process, especially if he can beat the other family members. I do not know how long the interest will last, but so far he seems to like it.After play, everything can be put away into the boxes and the worms in their compartment, so it is not all that messy at the end.
