The light works great. Illumination is bright as long as you have a good sunny day to charge. Cloudy days the light will go dim quicker at night.My remote failed after a couple of weeks. Working with the distributor/manufacturer to get it replaced. Will have to update you later.

This is the second pair I have. Purchased. I installed the first pair over 2 years ago and have zero trouble with them. So when I decided to install more lights on my 1/4 mile long drive way it was easy to decide which lights to purchase.They are bright enough to light the area without blinding you in the dark and are very easy to install. They come with a wireless remote but you can leave the remote sensor part out if you just want dusk to dawn.As I stated the first pair have been in use over 2 years without and trouble. I have not had to replace the battery in that time.These lights are dusk to dawn or remote operation, they do not have motion sensors.

When I received this light. I tested it and it worked fine. However, when I set up the light on the house the light lit dim. Attempts were made to use the remote but it didn't respond to it either. The material the remote is made of is very flimsy and it is not working anymore. The light shines dim whether it receives a day or several days of sunlight. It is time 0 be an option for rating a product.

Our circumstance is we need the solar lights inside an enclosed carport where there is no electricity. We found this light, were happy first from the product description on Amazon. But after installing one, found out more about this light and it didn't work out very well for our needs. The remote control is basically for turning off the light, not much for turning on the light.Pro: 1. the solar panel and light are separated. So we can have the solar panel outside and the light inside.2. have a remote control to turn the light off.3. once the light is on, the battery can last for a few hours to keep the lights on.Con: 1. This light is controlled by dawn-to-dust sensor at the solar panel. This function can NOT be disabled. So the light will ONLY be on, when either outside is pitch dark or you manually completely cover the solar panel. Another word, the remote can NOT turn on the light at anytime you want. If the solar panel senses any light, the remote doesn't work. Even when the outside was already pretty dark, like late evening time, we really needed the lights inside, but the remote could not turn it on.2. There is no motion detection.3. Had to drill a hole big enough for the cable connector to go through the wall, not just for the cable diameter, so need to seal the hole for water leaking.We bought two lights. But after installing the first one, then found out the all above. We returned the unused one.

So we are at the peak of summer and this lasting from dark to 5AM (Very dim at 5AM) -- I wish it had a brightness setting, but it is all or nothing. VERY Bright when it is on.

I bought this light in 2020, and I have zero problems with it. It still works all night. I leave the house at 5:15 a.m., and the light is still going, winter and Summer. It's 2024 and still going strong.

Lights a decent size area and works great, been up 8 months-ish with no issues at all

Although it is fairly bright, it only lasts a few hours before it is barely seen. It does not last from dusk till dawn.
